2019 Road Trip Day 1 – Eastern Washington Plateau05:00

We drove 405 miles. Banks Lake was an unexpected stop but when we saw how awesome it was all frozen over, we had to stop. Highest above-ground drone altitude was 750 ft in the amazing Gorge, but you wouldn’t know it as those cliffs are 1000ft high! Waylen said he was nervous when we descended into the valley because the cliffs were intimidating.

Perfect weather and high spirits made for an epic first day!!!!
