This did not go well! If you look carefully, you will see that probably all motors were off! I’m done here 😉
Reason: one of the motor mounts broke at full throttle, rest followed. Bottom line: X Class quads and 3D printing does not match. I’m done with big drones. Too much hassle I’m afraid.
There will be a longer video in a few days that will explain what exactly happened in details.
Oh those X Class drones…. madness

If you want to go the easy route to long flight times just build a parralell battery connector and slap two 1500ish batteries on a 5″.
I get 8 min of smooth video without hassle of balancing props and it is a lot of fun to fly.

Those big props need careful balancing, and 3D printed motor mounts…?…, not a good idea IMO. Shame, Im sure had the motor mounts not failed and it was flown like a Camera platform and not a freestyle quad it could have been fine..?
