Philippines & US. Day 7 of no intervention to fix my Internet issues from PLDT. I thought today, All Souls Day here in the Philippines was going to be a relaxing day with not much planned but you’ll see I got a couple surprise visits.

      James I won’t bust your chops for the repeat its been done enough lol . Man you needed company there for a good grilling session! Pop a couple cervezas. So we live in Tigbauan Iloilo same place as the blogger My Philippine Life. I too always miss a good steak since I am a beef grower here in Tejas USA. Well we now are getting some pretty decent steaks at S&R Iloilo. I noticed when you went to Ashley Furniture there was a S&R right down the street in camera shot. We found Australian , New Zealand(really good) and USA beef there. With USDA stickers. Im not sure about the story of S&R but so much of their stuff is from Costco and Sams Club which I thought was competitors but… mmm maybe not! If you haven’t visted them and your craving USA products at sometimes fair prices then go there. I bought a very high quality 3/4 inch 100′ foot water hose from USA there for same price or lower than it cost here. Man James I wish you the best always there. Rock On SOuthern Boy

      As I type this my PLDT download speed just dropped to 0.12mbps but upload is still good so far. I don’t recall you ever having shown a visit to S&R but I have suggested you try it if you have never been there. Here in Davao they usually carry Montana beef and Australian beef and have good tender porterhouse and T- bone steaks comparable to US, but have never seen a ribeye unfortunatly. They also sometimes have wagyu steaks ( same as Kobe beef just not from KobeJapan ) because there is a farm near Davao that raises Wagyu beef. It’s not cheap but only a fraction of the cost it is in US. I know Cebu has a meat market that sells the Wagyu but I don’t know about Manila or your area, but S&R may.
