The sma connector neesds to be isolated from the frame, I bet there is some current leaking through the carbon. Thats my guess on that noise.
I’m happy to hear this but sad too… I heard the new atlatl hv v2 is awesome and the pics show it with the rf shielding!! Did you get the HV V2? just wondering and also did you throw a cap on it? Ground the vtx and cam to the same ground??
think of atlatl is saying at little but like lattle so at lattle just saying cause I would want someone to tell me if I was mispronouncing something. It’s actually named after an ancient pole and spear type device that uses mechanical leverage to fling a spear or arrow or bolt at a much higher speed at a farther distance
I guess I’ll try removing one or two screws on each motor. I had one motor puff white smoke. Also burnt the + lead on the cap and fried my fc . There is also a high pitched noise coming from them and get extremely hot just doing a hover test.
those cheap motors ussually comes with iron nuts. DONT USE IT> they make a lot of vibration.. i make a video explaining it..

Your vtx might be overheated
What amp Esc do I need?
Your VTX is doing this because one of the Motor screws is touching the windings in the motors. 🙂 I had the same issue
