In this video, I reconnect the wires to the motors and flight controller to survey the damage. There was some damage but it appears the flight controller, PMU, IOS mini and transmitter are still working. Luckily, the quadcopter crashed on its landing gear and not on the deck that houses the electrical components.

Yeah that’s a bummer. You have the best attitude I’ve seen in a while for builders in this hobby.
I’d bet the FC is ok. I’ve seen a few crashes including my own. Unless the UAV lands on it’s back, they seem to be ok.
