I am going to build a new quadcopter for my friend Nate (from the RC Saylors), and thought that it would be good to document the process, and try to do this so that someone very new to the building process can hopefully follow along a little bit.
In this video, we go over a little more detail on the Flight Controller, flash the latest firmware to it (that is, we load the software that makes it work), and we do some basic Flight Controller prep by tinning the solder pads that we will be using.
