This is definitely one that I am looking into and researching. Can anyone recommend an fpv system that can reach the 1000 meter range of this quad? Still reading and soaking in all I can about fpv with a limited budget in mind. Runcam 2 with powerful enough tx and homemade fpv goggles maybe?

Hey QC. What would you suggest for a mid range racing style acro quad? I have the xk x350 and love it recently spun out of control into the ground snapping out one of the stanchions. wasn’t sure if I should fix this one or invest in something that was a little less costly to fix or a little more sturdy thanks again.

battery low cost
You said this has a throttle hold button, does that mean you can lock your throttle in and that would stay around the same altitude, kind of like altitude hold mode?
I’m scared of this one lol it has way to much power and that pitch is crazy It is so fast its is hard to keep orientation for me but it flies good but it sucks that battery down fast I’m going to have to get a couple more, but I’m taking it easy with this one I took it to the park today and I had my runcam hd and the camera mount was coming off in flight when one of the finger tightening screws came out so I had to put a alan screw in it. but yes this thing is awesome but all that power is hard to get used to.lol

Found this review looking at the new low cost XK-201 205g carbon boomed HK 201 seekingĀ info on the $10 better TX option.Ā I don’t see any replies to the DR issueĀ but if the “DR switch” is like most “real” TXs then it stands forĀ duel rates and it comes un-programed and you need to program it to set it up…Ā didn’t mention if its a 2 or 3 way switch but with 1000 meter range itĀ looks like it might have a respectable TX thatĀ out ranges the DEVO 7E without modification and wonder how the resolution and stick quality is. Based on your initial over controlling it on take off looks like it has higher hobby grade resolution and seems to be a great flyer especially for having 3D props that can fly upside down.Ā But IMO unlessĀ training for 3D helicopters flying upside down with a quadĀ Ā is a complete waste of timeĀ as you lose so much prop performance in the trade off and rather have theĀ much longer flight times normal props provide as well as far better uprightĀ performanceĀ and speed. Not having the same prop option of choice like on the 200QX is theĀ main flaw with the NanoQX 3D IMO and sure wish Blade would come out with some .80mm normal props for theĀ Nano QX3D as it might give the JD1000 a lesson in manners and will handle the wind even better.Ā This X350 is not in the toy class anymore so makes sense it gets a hobby gradeĀ TX.Ā Wonder if it has Expo in the Duel Rate menu too (saying that’s what the DR switch is for since no one has mentioned it). This X350 and the new XK 201might come withĀ the first decent low cost TX after the DEVO 7E worth owning. If so XK has made a very wise marketing decision and the fact it’sĀ using theĀ Futaba protocol makes it even better. Smart thinking…. that’s exactly what I’d do second to giving it Spektrum DSMX compatibility so you could use low cost 11ms Lemon RXs.

Hello, since I did a “restore factory settings” on the radio transmitter, the XK X350 is very difficult to take off, it finally take off by pushing very strong throttle but immediately turned upside down. Can you help me please I am to despair. Thank you .
hello !! i’m not change props, sorry for my “google translate english” cos i’m french !! ok i have found the problem, in fact when I bought the XK X350, the original SETTINGS was limited to 70, that’s why I did a factory reset and the takeoff is almost impossible, i re-try some settings “homogeneous” like “origin”: so i put throttle curve: 1:0 2:15 3:30 4:45 5:70 and… and it take off now…very strange !!

You sound as excited as I am flying this little beauty. I am having so much fun everyday with the X350. XK Innovations make some great quads. X100 on order for learning 3D. With carbon uni-direction blades and dual rate I like to think of the throttle as a cloaking device as it just vanishes upwards…
Can you explain why you have jello here with the xk x350 and with the eachine racer 250 none! Is the eachine heavier and therefore more steady in the wind? First I thought that every brushless drone offers very little jello. Every eachine video on youtube I’ve seen so far doesn’t have jello or only very little. Why is that?

I have a question please not regarding this quad but the smaller version XK X251. I know it weighs less then the FAA requirement at 207grams. My question please is if I was to buy it and install a run cam like the one you used in this video attached to the XK X350 (which will increase the weight over 250g) then will I have to register it? Now that it weights 250 or more after the cam installed?
quadcopter 101 this is nowhere near a toy grade flyer which you stated….this baby is all kinds of trouble and that is a good thing….I ordered one and will be counting the days til it gets here

The slow turn may have something to do with the camera you put on it, might have changed the balance, try it without the camera .
