Here is my quarter final race that allowed me to continue to the Semi-final.
The 2016 Osan Drone Race in South Korea was such an amazing event, the races were very fast and the rounds ran smoothly on both days. The organisers KAMA (Korea Aero Models Association) ran the days like clock work and thankfully translated the important announcements into English. The main racing was between 78 pilots which included incredible pilots from all over the world. It was a pleasure and an honour to fly with every pilot there and I hope I get to see you all again soon.
Huge thank you to KAMA and FAI for all your help and for this amazing event…
The quad I am flying is an Armattan SCX200, I fly nothing else but this frame now as its so reliable and predictable in the air, check them out…
Flight pack is a Acehe 1500mAh 75C 4s lipo, these gave me the confidence to push the throttle and not have to manage voltage sag in the process, these are my ‘goto’ battery of choice…
I am using Gemfan 5x45x3BN props for this flight, the toughness and added efficiency of these props gave me the edge over some of the other pilots at this event…
My goggles were purchased with confidence from FirstPersonView, check out their selection…
I trained for this event using the HoverSpeedRC Pro gates and Quick Track Pro kit, check them out….
Thank you to all mine and Team Breakout sponsors, without them we would not of been able to travel and compete in South Korea
