Rogue drones can be disruptive or even dangerous. But how do you take down a drone from the sky? First up: net guns and balls. Frankly, itโs a bit hit and miss. Then, a lightbulb moment: How about a Tesla Coil? Will the drones fly? Or fry? Watch spectacular live experiments to bring down drones (including the Tesla Coil) at DroneClash on 16th March in Katwijk, the Netherlands by going to http://www.droneclash.nl/tickets

DroneClash is a sort of aerial Robot Wars with the serious aim of stimulating counter-drone technology. Recent events like the Gatwick โdrone incidentโ have reminded us that flying drones in the wrong places could be recipe for disaster. On 16/03/2019 nine teams from from five countries will battle it out with drones for a prize pot of โฌ50,000. Follow all the latest developments here: http://www.droneclash.nl/news

sponsored by the state, because they desperately need the ultimate tool the currently lack.
Man, man, man….. en vrouwen natuurlijk, nou ja uh, veel plezier in Katwijk dan maar.
Awesome vid guys! ๐ . I hope the Drone Clash event is a success! Wish we coulda been there!
Cheers!
only 24h left!!
What’s the matter with a standard 12ga pump shotgun? At the example ranges, birdshot would be excellent; up to 40m or so, turkey loads should serve quite well.
Works great if the drone gets within the 3-foot range of that tesla coil. The net gun or the ball gun would be more effective.
