So far it looks like an ok kit to me. The ESCs being too large and needing to be shaved down was a huge oversight though. I am interested in how it will perform as it is my first experience in the micro brushless world.

Did it fly well? Looks a little top heavy!
If you went with 1104’s what KV would you get.
i have the same kit with a different frame, the motors actually perform ok but the press fit shafts are pretty easy to push through the other side putting props on and off. Fun micro though, the pico is an awesome little board.
Also did my first build with these 4-in-one ESCs, and found it was cleaner, running the motor wires around the stand-off, and solder them on coming from the inside. (would have even soldered them on the underside, as the pads are on both sides… but couldn’t motivate myself re-doing the first motor :p) Much cleaner! I only had to wire 4 from ESC to 3 on FC; 3 from ESC to 4 on FC. 1 and 2 were correct in my case.
Rx XM range?
Flight footage please
Not a bad kit for somebody new and doesnt mind testing skills on something small. $100 for all but the video combo is fine but I’d even pay $130 if there was an option for leveled up motors (lets see after flight). I like the look of it and might even like to try this one. Also havent used my “dremel” style tool yet and need an excuse. Cool video. Hope it flies well for you.
how did the camera take 7-8 volts. was it ok as i thought the built in lc filter supplied bat voltage..
The RCaddict good job mate just a little tip I do dealing with the little motor wires see my short video. https://youtu.be/9ASVKy7jk_0
