You know, its going to get to a point where you aren’t going to be able to see these tiny ones to fly LOS. Heck, its hard for me to see my QX95 at a distance of greater than 50 yards. So, by going so small, you’ll either have to fly it within 10 yards for LOS or fly FPV. Regarding the tuning … stock Betaflight PIDs work pretty well on just about anything out of the box (unlike Cleanflight PIDs). Yes, you can tweak them to your own liking, and I always do, because everyone’s “feel” is different. At first you said it was only available in FlySky .. but then I saw you with a Taranis in your lap, and wondered if you had a TX module plugged in the back. But, then you said it was only available in FrSky, so then it made sense. Since you have it on the Taranis, one feature I’ve incorporated into all my Taranis models is to have a ‘flight timer’ running (it starts when you arm and advance the throttle). As each minute goes by, the “voice” on the Taranis announces the minutes elapsed (1 minute … 2 minutes … 3 minutes .. and so on). This way if you know your craft has only a 3 minute flight time, you can start thinking about bringing it in shortly after the 2 minute warning as been announced. Since I have the module which allows me to fly various ‘toy grade’ quads with the Taranis (like Syma and Mould King), I know the flight times for those quads as well, and go by the time announcements rather than having to look for hard to see LVC LEDs (besides, some of my toy quads give you about a 5 second LVC before dropping out of the sky, so an announcement works out better). Its a cute little flyer, but perhaps a bit too small for me. I should be getting my KingKong 90GT (brushless) this week some time and am looking forward to getting some air time on it .. weather permitting. Thanks for the review … Cheers.
the mounting and the propps ( except they are tree bladed) similar to the F36!!! do you know the diameter of the propps? like always a nice review!!!
Not a bad video picture from such a small drone.
They moved the goalposts…
can you please give me a shout out, im a fellow fpv flier that just starded an account, would really help
Pretty cool 3 minutes but for that money I’ll buy a private plane;-)
That flies so nicely. Hopefully flysky rx soon.
Great job, as always. Looks like a cute little flyer, but the tiny battery is a drawback. Hmmm…
Great one. I cant stop buying more and more of these lil ones
sharp lil’ flyer…you’ve gotten way better on FPV too !
I’m not sure if I got a dud but mine can’t go much more than two minutes on the stock battery or even bigger mylipo 600s. I know when the battery is getting low because the pitch and roll start getting notchy then the RSSI alarm goes off then it falls. Incredibly inefficient. Not sure how they managed to take a step back from brushed performance?!? I can put the same lipo in my super-x micro and do 5 minutes of flips, rolls, loops and come down at 3.9v.
