WOW! I have built a few multi rotors myself but never considered going for much speed. I was always happy if I could get a few flights without crashing. Mine was more for carrying cameras. You could look at what I do on my YOuTube channel called Ekim Nosreip. Maybe now I’ll try to build something fast!!

It could be fake but to be honest it would take forever to create an audio file that matched up that accurately with how fast the drone was moving, and how far away it was. Those also looked like metal blades with a compact design. I see no obvious issues with how fast this drone could fly.

reminds me of the time i put 2200kv motors and 25amp ESCs and a CC3D with a 6 cell on a 250 sized quad… the flight looked similar to this but it was mostly by accident of me trying to not crash :/
This doesn’t seem real. Looks like it could keep up with a Ferrari, or even beat it. lol. But if it is real, at this speed a drone could kill someone if the one flying it wasn’t careful, and very experienced. Even with a lot of experience it seems dangerous.

lol, this is what any one needs to think about when they consider trying to defend against say 100 of these coming in at you…each armed with a quarter pound of c4 ….there simply is no defending against that.
If you want to use electronic counter measures like jams or EMP’s you need to hope the drones aren’t Faraday shielded.
If you want to use a manual arm approach like a gun or shot gun or machine gun…just forget it you are too slow to hit them unless they come in on predictable straight vectors which is pointless when you have this level of maneuverability…
Further if they are autonomous they can be given simple intelligence to identify targets and defenders and take evasive actions against them as they range in to strike.
We seriously need to work on being better humans to each other because our machines are going to become so good at killing us that they will end up being the only things left when we are all done with our pointless reasons for fighting each other are concluded.

Probably around 150 mph. I have a 4s battery on my racing quad and it can go 120 but this seems a little snappier than mine.

This is 100% real. Look up his channel. Most 4S or 6S quads can perform at these speeds.
Looks like a custom build to me. I would recommend getting a 100C battery and 2450kv or higher motors with 5 or 5.5″ tri-blade props. You should be able to achieve the same performance he does here.
