Another episode, another story to tell. We took the Walkera Runner 250 for
a race against our favorite x350 Pro. If you have not seen this quad, it is
the perfect size for the hottest RC races this summer. I have some other
exciting news, but let’s save that for the next episode. – LEO
Take a look at this video on YouTube:how fast awesome
Yeah will do and thats gonna be well good buddy i cant wait get FPV lol
Ya me too when ive got my quad end of july fpv baby check them apps out
Super speed im so getting FPV after ive sorted my motorbike
Was it really going 60mph ? That seems awfully quick!
+Andres Cordero that was a joke, not sure, but our rc jets goes upto 100
mph.
SICK!!!!! I just got the Runner 250 in the mail today!!!!!!!! ….. “:)
+jggraphx How do you like it so far?
Hey guys, it looks like an excellent starter racer alright and at a great
price. I have a question about the range and reliability of the Vtx. Can
you give me some ideas on how you went with it please?
+hoggif Hey Jason, tip stall you mean! 🙂 my friend started the fod, he is
laughing out loud for a few months for starting that. Pilots do look for
precise stick control and yes you can use trim, but of course the
fundamental of rc aircraft is to make sure at 0 throttle you have
-100 gains on a standard setup. You can adjust your trims to fit your
preference, but it may not be another person’s preference or safety to have
the trims over adjusted! Good idea to set your throttle hold on a switch
and don’t forget failsafe too.
+Jason Wallis While it does not disarm when throttle is turned to zero,
there seems to bee some hichup in motor start if tyou let the throttle to
zero even brifly. I’ve configured my min throttle to 6% which keeps props
always on when started. I’ve use a throttle hold of -15% as a turn off
konfigured on another switch. This avoids any hickups and “roll of death”.
+Jason Wallis hello Jason, that was the maiden, going around tracks, about
the size of a stadium. We have not flown further out. The Devo F12E has a
good range. I also use the 700d dvr monitor with diversity antenna which
has great reception

For how many minutes can you fly that fast with the 250 Runner before the
battery dies?
+Frank Mckenzie 12-14
How did you make the connection between the DEVOF12E and the Joystick.
Did you need a special software to do that?
+Dakr drone yes, both software and usb. I think on episode 100, we have it
connected to the entire yoke flight simulator, like the cockpit and with
padals, outdoors in a tent. there is a glimpse of it on ep 95 during the
timelapsed. coming soon.
Common Flying with the Joy. Is Cheating…:) Oh I dont know if it is, but
defenetlly I wouldnt race with someone WHO has the Joystick, Its impossible
to win from them…:)
Have you experienced zero throttle drop out issues ,,It seems everytime i
drop the throttle to zero the runner 250 drops out . me and countless other
members are all having this issue..We could use so help if there is a
answer to this
+diydrone hi. What does this do?
+Steve Panebianco it is a correct respond, at zero thrust it should fall
and not fly away. Remove your propellers, arm the Runner 250, throttle up
and down, invert it – throttle up and zero down and up again. Note, it
will not shut down or disarm, at zero throttle, please be careful, it is a
racing quad, not a drone. Remember to disarm when done flying.
what and how do i set the Throttle cut off to one of the switches ?
Walkera Runner 250 Parts now available!
does the camera automatically adjust for the forward angle?
+B Beane no, it does not have a gimbal, it is just a quadcopter, unless you
add a inverted g2d, which we have done before.
