whats the solution to the 2nd crash? i had 1 today.. about 20 feet from
ground.. broke the esc :(
Im not to sure what happened, but that day was a wind gusts, perhaps it was
difficult to establish for walkera that he is not landed yet. Maybe i’m
wrong i don’t know.
P.S that was with 1.1 versoin, now i have updated with 1.5. Tested RTH ones
and landed just perfect, but there was no wind at all.
+Ladsas I’ve had RTH try to land thinking the ground was 10 feet higher
than it is. Only after repeatedly toggling RTH and Normal was I able to
bring it down within reach but it was still locked in RTH. I ended up
grabbing a leg and unplugging the battery while it was still trying to land
at the wrong height.
Gimbal that you used?
Walkera G-2D 2 Axis Brushless
just upgrade the fc with naza+gps and the problem solve
Whats this mean?
This surely looks like the LVC issue. That stands for Low Voltage Control!
There is a mod that bypass’s this. And then just use a battery buzzer.
You ran it too long and the battery hit the low volt of 3.7v per cell. This
is in place to you don’t puff the pack and risk a fire from the lipo.
Granted the Walkera could do allot better job than to have the craft just
cut out but a puffed pack with a new person at the helm is just asking for
a fire later on while the puffed pack is in the car on the way home or if a
novice decided to charge that puffed pack back home and burn down the
house. Why in the hell would you have your child anywhere around you while
your operating a flying machine with spinning blades is beyond me. Do you
also have them play around you while you mow the lawn?
lipo fire from damaged pack that was under volts.
LiPO Spontaneously catches on fire at EZDrone
Very unlucky with that crash. I’ve fallen much harder, much future and
only have slight hairline fractures in the shell – can’t even notice it.
I’ve got two spare shells as I’m sure I’ll stuff this one completely
before I’m comfortable with it. Then I’ll fix all the damage and pretty
much start from new 🙂
Good luck with your toy! Watch out for the kids!
hi people, i have a Walkera QR X350 too,but after a crash for low batt
(2mts high) now not taking off. I do the calibrations and the problem
continues, check inside for if they had loose wires or broken parts but all
is well.
in the video the throttle was on 100.
thanks for any comment
Are all the switches in the up position
Dude!! that was a close call…
You can try and change the lipo failsafe in Mission Planner, bring it down
to something like 10.5V.
I had crach at RTL mode too.
Lucky, that it didn’t hit your kid.
Wowo close call and sorry to see you crash. Hope you got back in the air
again quickly. Thanks for sharing.
