Looking back at all the FPV and race wings I have reviewed over the last 12 months.

Past Planes
Look for the “Easter egg”
Something I say, something I wear or an item in the background that relates to a movie, TV Show or music.
First to find it gets a permanent link to their channel in this video description.
Thank you Andrew, very informative, exactly the kind of subjective review I like. But you didn’t mention your FX-79, (which I’ve always fancied because it is so big); I’d have liked to hear how you’d place it in your extensive experience of wings. I’d recommend a WIng WIng z-84, very simple and cheap, flies well at slow speed as well as flat out, a joy on a calm evening.
Wings always are eventful flying….AND landing…don’t know if I love em or hate em.
How similar are the Reptile S800 and the Sonicmodel AR? I know they are not identical but the builds are roughly similar. I have the Reptile S800 and like it, but don’t love it enough to want more planes like it. So, my question is, is the AR in a league of it’s own?
Hi Andrew. I’ve watched almost all of you videos, and decided to make my first scratchbuild foam plane. The only foam I can buy is a 10mm x 500mm x 1000mm pink rather hard sheet, no paper, which weights around 180 grams. (they go under the wooden floor) It is impossible to bend, it will break.
Could you recommend for a start build (and a noob 🙂 a good slow flyer, with probably an under cambered wing construction, or maybe KF airfoil? I was thinking on the Old Fogey, or maybe a modified more stable version of it. Or something better with plans. Maybe some glider.
Thank you.
Nice video. Thanks for the channel
Vill put the Sonic wing on my wish list! Thanks!
Would be interested in your view of the C1 Chaser pls.
Have you had a tidy up?
Wobble is the wings attempt at yaw control.
As the wing yaws it looses lift on the leading side of the wing where the trailing side of the wing gains lift. This rotates the wing back to the original position until it overshoots and begins the process again.
Past planes is an excellent series!
this is my favorite series. You are going to have to obtain more planes so you can crank out more of these.
Hello I have a ready made rc recruit and it seems exactly identical to the AR wing even down to those screws that screw on by hand to hold the wings in place mines has a stabilizer built in with assist to launch I wonder who copied who
Hey Andrew, Have you ever had a problem with storing your planes in the shed during the Australian summer? I’ve been looking at moving my collection to the shed, but am a bit concerned that the ambient heat during summer will cause the hot glue to fail.
I love these wrap up vids Andrew… Good stuff.
Great review Andrew , thanks for sharing
Great video once again 🙂
no Z84, Fx61 or FX79?….
Nice material. Having a slightly nose heavy wing helps with the jitters. A nose heavy airplane is always more stable with the expense of induced drag. You can run out of up elevator as well. Some really cool technology which will stabilze the jitters, lower stall speed and drag are vortex generators, also called VG’s. Check this out also…
Shame you haven’t flown the sonicmodell hd wing. Its brilliant
Hi Andrew. Thanks. Nicely delivered to the point coverage. Some of your skies look wonderful as well. BobUK
