Holy shit rianrex! That thing was moving at least 70 mph. I want to
purchase a racing 250 quad but, am still learning to fly my Tarot Pro 450
helicopter. I do have a Syma X5C-1 that is a fun quad to learn with but, it
does not have the power to carry a gopro or do much more than flips.
Eventually, I will purchase a performance quadcopter along with a HeadPlay
HD FPV Headset w/ 32ch 5.8GHz Receiver. I just may end up buying the
HeadPlay FPV headset and use it with what I have unit I can afford to go
all-in on a better quadcopter.
Ah that will buff right out 🙂 Fun flying and 6″ on that little critter
looks great fun. Shame the quad couldn’t take a cartwheel though, 250
should take that all day. Was it just teh base plate that snapped or much
more damage?

PS:watch out for the fly away glitch some drones have you fly about 15 feet
and you loose complete control of the drone not because its out of range
because of abug in the system witch causes it to fly in a certain direction
and just keep going until it crashes or runs out of battery

I’m VERY surprised it blew up like that. I’ve crashed my drone very hard on concrete with a crap chinese 250 carbon frame. Go with a different frame dude, not all carbon fiber is created equal

The whole Quad should be made of the same material as the camera, it always survives. Sort of like the black box on commercial aircraft, it always survives.

What a shitty frame! I’ve crashed like that a few times, cracked board “ears”, ripped off a motor, ripped through a tie-strap and that’s it.
That was the first commercially available miniquad frame and a very long time ago. Shit has changed a lot since then.
I know, I’ve been flying FPV since 2014 but I’ve been pretty lucky with frames themselves, it’s the motors and cameras I went through in the early days of flying, oh and Align’s Robo-cat that broke flying into a bush at 10mph, the sad part is Walkera is still making frames this delicate-It’s sad really, because they made great mini 3D heli’s and that’s what I learned to fly on.
Impressive flying on old firmware! I ran CC3D all the way up to 2017, and hot-damn are the now boards better!
