if someone did this to my drone, I would sue the shit out of them.
I make money with these. At events especially. I have a purpose to use
these. I wouldn’t be complaining about a job flying these at $800 per
event.

I personally never fly my custom built camera quadcopter near anyone I
usually fly it near airfields or airports which now when realised is worse
than flying it above crouded streets

will have to have a licence for them. in all of them they have broken 3
flying rules
1 fly away from buildings and property
2 don’t fly over people
3 don’t fly over restricted airspace eg fucking new york
Ok so people like these i really hate. I take pride in my hobby. it’s what
I like to do. I love remote controlled toys. but every toy I’ve had someone
tries to ruin. my rc truck. people throw rocks at. and now I’ve got a $800
quadcopter flying in the air and people try to ruin your nice things. it’s
stupid. how about I go into your house and throw a rock at your $1,000 tv.

property! Do those retards throw things in passing cars, bikes, aircrafts?

You and people like you are the reason they are creating all of the new
legislation for. Because of idiots like you and others this fun and
educational hobby will have severe restrictions placed on it. Instead of
“flying under the radar” literally and figuratively you have chosen to
place all of our recreational liberties in jeopardy. This video and ones
like it are a testament to why we have stupid laws because there are stupid
people in the world. I know the stability of the DJI GPS modules, but what
if RTF fails and your battery dies, you have now exposed yourself to
tremendous liability and potentially put people miles away in harms way.
400 ft and LOS is plenty, stop being dumb and having our hobby vilified and
portrayed as being populated by a bunch of out of control idiots who ignore
the established rules.

Inexperienced pilots flying in congested areas should be illegal. I’m a
huge quadcopter fanboy, but I’m all for reasonable regulations to stop
noobs from causing injury.
I’ll say that every one of these situations is caused by irresponsible
piloting. Sure there are douchebags throwing stuff, but seriously, the
quadcopter either shouldn’t have been there, or the pilot should have been
more respectful to the people around and flew MUCH higher. Be aware of your
surrounding, be cautious, be smart and most importantly be respectful.
People really really really hate these things. They look up and immediately
start throwing things at them.
