+FliteTest How is he able to fly 5.8 in and out of trees?
What are u using to run your gopro for fpv? Is there a certain fpv that u
have to have for gopro or just a connection that goes for the gopro?
for how long can this things fly? xD 10-15 min ? and how far ?
What PID settings would you use for this “light” setup? I’ve been trying
different settings but its still a work in progress to get it where I’m
satisfied.
This was great. More like this!!
wtf did i just watch. those goggles they are expensive?
Are all the fpv cameras on a ready to fly race drones set so you can see
forward instead of the floor when going at high speeds or you need to
adjust that yourself?
excellent flying… perhaps a build video and setup on the quad would be
good…
Lol josh at 6:39
It really was a pleasure to meet +FliteTest , awesome group of people!
Amazing work on the video, it came out super nice! Thanks again guys!
Lets do this weekly.. haha :D
I want to see other top quad racing pilots please!
The tighter the better…wow thats some quote!
Watching the fingers on the controls, it seems like there’s mad expo dialed
into them. Either that, or they’re custom curves that are relatively flat
except the ends. Am I right with this?
I’ve been flying the Hubsan H107D (FPV), the camera is angled down slightly
& during acceleration, I’m only looking at the ground. I seen you did a
video on micro FPV a while back, do you have any advice for moving the
camera to straight or elevated angle? Thanks!
I’d like to see his ESC solution.
Charpu has some serious skills
Are there cameras with gyros to keep them horizontal at all times so you
don’t have to mount it tilted up?
whats the lens added to the gopro?
is it possible to run with two 1300 batteries on the 250 one in place of
the gopro?
Thank you Charpu, and as always, a BIG thank you to the Flitetest crew! Ive
been flying a 500mm frame for almost a year now and been interested in
these miniquads for quite some time.. Ive gotta build one now. This video
was just amazing!!
Ok look,, I need help, i just got a 5.8 ghz fpv system but when i go near
trees a little bit but still in the open space it keeps giving me static
every like 5 seconds, how do i fix this do i need a better antenna or do i
need more power to my fpv transmitter or what pls help!!! p.s. i am not
using the stock antennas i am using clover leaf antennas and i am using a
1000 mah 3s lipo to power my fpv receiver and a 900 mah 3s to power my fpv
receiver, thanks!
+CHARPU FPV Hello . i´m looking for an advise from you about action
cameras, here is the issue, i love the video quality of the mobius and the
price of course! but…. its pretty fragile.. i have busted three mobius
already, the case does not crack or brakes but after a crash or a mild
impact it just wont record any more, i´ve tried to reflash, change sd card,
battery disconect etc.. and same story never works again and i have to pass
on to the next 85usd mobius, so my question to you is which camera do you
recommend that may take some serious abuse as it is drone racing, so far as
the situation is i don´t mind spending more money on a single purchase
rather than many mobius… becouse when drone racing is about crashing is a
must!!! LOL, hopefully you can give some advise!
thaks in advance!!
that guy really is gifted.. so great to watch him!!
music?
hey guys. i m new to this hobby n i m confused in between spectrum n
frsky… which one ranges better????

Best episode.
my mini goes up to 20 mins of flight time -_-
You guys should bring Joe smith on the show! I’d love to see some super
good 3D fixed wing pilots as well. I just got a ZMR 250 and flying fpv race
quads is the only other type of flying that gives be the same thrill as 3D!
Great episode! Love your videos and Charpu is incredible!! Keep up the
great work guys, you really bring a great amount of energy, excitement, and
safety education to the hobby.
That is so funny that they mentioned skate boarding. I always felt like
there was a connection to skateboarding and aggressive fpv flying for me
mentally. Maybe not for everyone but for me I always felt that way.
Great footage! :)
hey invite tareq
i just wish i had the money to do it =[
3:48 flying starts here
very nice tips, thanks for sharing, best wishes for you all 🙂
Ohh. look at that old frame.
How the hobby have evolved. 😀
can anyone link me a good racing drone to buy?
its weird that a lot of fpv freestyle guys come from inline skating, especially since I’m one of those guys
I can’t believe it took me 3 years to see this. Reminds me of the Bamboo and business scenario. It takes 5 years for bamboo to break through the ground then it really takes off. I’m following Charpu.
It was a miracle charpu was able to fly on this ancient tech.
Bad ass
I’ve been trying to fly for a little wile now and I just can’t get the hang of it 🙁
the same damn squirrel again whahha 11.25
That’s what she said @0:40
Where do I get one of these!?
Wanna get a sponsored pilot too XD lol
Now Thats Pod Racing!
Wow back when charpu was a thumber
I’m still very new to quad flying but what my mentor taught me when learning to fly in open spaces is when you feel like you’re losing control learn to hesitate to decrease throttle or apply throttle generously. Of course in tight spaces this might not be so true but it helps to regain control without any obstacles in the way
wow 3+ years old and how much has change with equipment, wish you were active my friend the FPV community loves you
I still come back and watch this vid I think its one of my favorite ones, this video inspired me to get into the sport, now I have 4 Quads, make vids every week and it’s my top hobby for sure, in fact all I seem to think about is quad flying these days. I love the way Charpu flies around here, just like literally a walk in the park. Thx guys, great vid. I’d love to see what he can do with one of the new Brushless Whoops like the Mobula7, it’s a little dream machine, the best way to learn, even for myself after 10 months into the sport, I learn so much from Whoop flying now. Anyone wanting to get into quad flying FPV style should start with a brushless whoop I think, better than any sim.
Does anyone knows what parts this charpu’s setup includes ?
So vintage already ! :o)
Wether its diving, gymnastics or FPV, back flips are easier because you can look back and see the water/floor/horizon coming. Not so forwards. Not like looking back. Love this community.
I did not hear the name correctly …. sorry
I didn’t mean to get his name wrong….
What an amazing video… thank you for brining in Shark Poo
whats the song called where he is flying the drone before the part the tighter the better ?
Damb this video is old lol
Batteries on steroids come to mind…
Ha! old skool! Fun to look back and consider this ripping.
Who’s watching in 2018??
Thanks for the demonstration flying Quadcopters. Looking forward to my new hobby. Thanks a lot.
Boyd
Man that quad looks huge and heavy ?
Greatest comb over ever
Oh how things have evolved :’)
3:06 bow chika wow wow
I wanna build one so bad….
Is charpu related to Leo Messi ?
i love looking back on this episode to see how much 3 years has changed the FPV Game
Try acro paragliding.
Who is here 3 years later looking at this and it was considered crazy flying? I remember when this video first came out how insane this was, but now look at what we are all doing…
Classic
I was watching this video and thought that this place looks akwardly familiar and I was right. Have you guys ever been to the SRQ Offshore powerboat GP? I would like to chase some Turbine Powerboats with the FT 270.
Bring Mr.steel in
Coming to this after johnny fpvs videos… Lol
Charpu steers with his thumbs… I thought you had more control with the pinching method. Do you? I started out with my thumbs, and saw a youtube video with tips for flying, where using the pinch was one of them. I am a beginner so it would be nice to know i am learning the right way. All replies apreciated:)
he really likes his left hand turns
Trees have drone magnets. Even if there’s only one tree in the field, it’s guaranteed that you’ll hit it.
