Thats the one negative is ribbon cable. I hope down the line they go with something like the turtle and have individual wires.

Why is there no coverage of the major issues this board has? Do you read RC group? This camera is a quad destroyer.
I fly Splits on all my quads. Original, Split V2, Split Mini. I really like them. Yes, not quite as good footage as a gopro, but easily good enough for my Hobby flying and at a fraction of the cost – let alone the weight. I’m running a Japalura with custom side plates at 244g AUW with a 4s 850mAh, decent performance and decent Video from a Sub 250g quad. And it is durable as anything out there…
Hmm. Need to try one. Had a v1 and a V2, both froze mid fast flight and broke a arm of the 3″

Can you address the audio that we heard from the Split. There was latency between the video and the sound. Then when you watched the HD footage there was no sound.

Nice to see Geoff still flying the Flysight Falcon fg01. I just got the Falcon fg02. They added independent IPD adjustment. And paired them with the Immersion Rapidfire. At a cost of $420. I believe it’s the perfect setup. They just need a 3D printable cover for the Rapidfire.
Seems a lot of people have issues with the split mini but I still love mine for the 2.5″ 1106 class. The fpv feed could be a bit less gray but it’s definitely flyable

Is that dvr footage undoctored? as in, no adjustments to the camera were made to enhance the image quality?
Have you used the caddx v2? Seems better than the runcam. Would love to see a comparison!
I love runcam cameras and use them exclusively. Their big flaw is the light handling. The still are setting them like stationary indoor cameras.
To me they need to set the hd side to a neutral setting since most people edit footage anyways with color correction and all.
Use the programable parts for the fpv feed. The split I have is unflyable on cloudy days or where I go from shade to full sun.
The way the settings are on the runcam mini is the best as far as control and should be in all of their gear in my opinion.
I have a setup video if you want to compare results and settings to compare notes.
The edge blur, especially on pitch changes, reminds me of a tilt-shift lens effect.
