edit: if you a noobie and you like this tip here’s another tip, never trust your software blindly, i tried to RTH on my mavic mini and it hit a curb (i took off in the road), always correct something if it seems off

I’m a beginner and I’m better than this.
I couldn’t believe that one guy, couldn’t crash it the fist time he flew into a tree, so he tried another 4 times and it finally died, probably in frustration or perhaps wasn’t happy with it’s idiot owner. Clearly the biggest killer of quadcopters isn’t trees, it’s the quad’s owner.
“follow me” always works good around trees.
Its actually painful how predictable these crashes are. 99% of the time they see the object they are going to crash into which means they know its there yet they still hit it. And in a way its worse if they don’t see it because it means they aren’t aware of their surroundings! UK laws say anyone 18+ is able to get a drone license. But im 16 and im 1000 times a better pilot than all of these idiots combined and yet i cant even apply!

It looks like a lot of these could have been avoided if the operator was actually paying attention and keeping the drone where they could see it (or at least following the drone when feasible). A lot of people flying into trees and other objects. This is why you should probably leave the collision prevention systems turned on (if applicable).
