@Bruce – Wonder if you would ever consider doing a video showing the servicing steps (and solvents to use) to bring a badly gummed up HP 40 engine back to life. This engine was last run in about 1972 and it would be great to see what long time R/C pilots do in such occasions. Can’t even move the throttle 🙁 – I know, putting it away without cleaning it is unforgivable so will severely chastise my 27 year old self (if I can find a time machine). Cheers, David [NPL]

Do you have any way to get hold of you or find out times you guys head out to the field to fly? I am a learning fpv quad flyer who is also in the waikato region and would love to see some others fly as that seems to have ceased around here, I remember travelling about 15-30 minutes to watch others fly when I was young. I also have a Heli I would love to learn to fly but need some knowledgeable help in getting started..

It’s so hard to get my son interested in any thing that’s not Fortnight ..He almost takes to fpv but the drive just is not there..
The hobby drying up is much like what happened to kites. The Luddites don’t want humans to soar in any way shape or form….. we must all crawl on our bellies like worms and never dream of looking at the sky, let alone use it
