Go with the “insane” rated motors, and double, triple, quadruple check that
the Side of the chip that gets the wires soldered on is upside down when
your quad copter is upside down.
Some things to note, if the quad copter does not lift off the ground the
propellers are on wrong, if the quad copter lifts off the ground but spins
uncontrollably, it means that a counterclockwise or clockwise motor needs
to be switched.
I made the mistake with flipping the chip the wrong way and as a result my
quad copter always thought it was upside down. At two minutes and 20
seconds, you can see my error.
