At two points during this flight (0:40 and 1:02), there is a strange oscillation and noise. Does anyone have an idea of what the cause/solution for this is? Specs for build below.

#neverstopflying
Could be a million different things, but I’d check physical first: loose screws or connections, motor bearings dirty, motor bell dirty, etc. Then move to blackbox, filtering, pid, etc. I’m assuming you can hear it in person and it’s not just a bad mic recording? This is why I’ve started just recording without sound lol
It sounds like Whales ? trying to communicate ??
That’s a wierd one almost seems like prop wash then the sound changed. idk lol
I had a hard time spotting it Spaceman.
Do u hear it when flying? Any adverse effects motors hot?
It definitely sounded weird that one after a minute in wish I knew what that was
Maybe the faa hacking your system
Sounds like a bad prop or loose prop.(Might be over spinning on the motor when you drop throttle) try changing the props First. I can think of a million issues to troubleshoot , but I’m sure you’ve done most of em. Also make sure nothing is touching your FC /gyro etc..
Staceman….seems to happen on the same move…kind of angled down and off the throttle…seems to be a spin down pulse. Does it always happen in that type of throttle down event? It seems like the ESC does not know where it needs to be speed wise.
Yep I agree with another comment…. the FAA is using its new Electro Magnetic Pulse Anti Evil Drone Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator. They are slowly upping the power, but letting you know they know who you be.
Sounds like some slightly grinding. Weird ?
Sounds like something in the props
That’s a strange one! It seemed to happen at the same point but funny it never happened again during the rest of the flight! Maybe the air intakes sucked in a bug!!? lol
I’d recommend two things, one at a time tho. First, change your PWM Freq to 48KHz in BLHeli. If it persists, check motor timing in Betaflight. It seems to happen at full low stick after a full throttle maneuver. Could be a stall especially spinning 7” props on 1100kv’s. Hope you sort it! **You could also play with motor timing in BLHeli as well.
What is your Min throttle setting?
Sounds like problem I had. It was a loose magnet. Started acting up after a hard crash.
FAA PULSE JAMMER TESTING
I could certainly be wrong but my guess is something with a motor. Like a bad bearing or loose magnet. ?
