Beagle Drone, makers of the Drone Kit 2X, Neo, and the new Nova Cinematic 4k drone, are selling bottom-of-the-line parts at 4x to 5x markup. How do they justify charging that much for that bad of a quadcopter? Who is their customer? I’ll interview Dwight Neptune, Beagle Drone CEO, and ask him these questions and more.
Beagle Drones is https://www.beagledrones.com/
Beagle Nova Kickstarter is https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/beagledrones/nova-drone-cinematic-fpv-flying-made-simple
The fun thing is that we as individuals might condone this kind of business practise, however, the customers seen as an organ don’t care much about morals – if the product is good at a price that enough people are willing to pay it is a smart business move to sell this product at given price and the market will support that product. The fact that chinese suppliers and resellers like Banggood are selling so dirt cheap and he (Beagle Drone) can sell 2017 parts at 4xRetail price means the industry is missing a lot of opportunity not looking into these markets. I do see the added value he is presenting, the real question is: is it worth it to you to have this tailored experience, think outside of the hardcore-knowledge-fact-scrutinous testing-driven Hobby FPV has become. I’m gravitating more towards EMAX (or whatever company they might be) tinywhoop RTF-Kits as a beginner quad-gift or to just have a peek into FPV.
Hey dude, are you allright ? You look kinda sick.
it’s good for his linked but for the customer 🙁
This guy’s pretty sharp. We are not his market. He’s trying to fill the big void between DJI and FPV, which may lead to more regulations but I digress 😆
30 minutes of pure BS. This guy is just a legal criminal.
I actually appreciate his answers answers because he wasn’t deflecting he was just answering honestly and that I can appreciate. Target market and user experienced, that’s a good focus
Thanks for the um expose um!!
Dji is soon to kill all this “consumer friendly FPV drone for creator and media companies” bs.. 😀
the FPV camera is just floating in space!
Still over priced, would rather loose three home builts
I did hear Danny Mcgee recommend this company once. He’s a great pilot and videographer, but he doesn’t build his own drones he buys bnf’s as he mentioned in one of his most recent videos.
It sounds like this guy saw a market where he could take advantage of people who were new to the hobby by using his ability to advertise using popular main stream search engines and sell outdated products for crazy prices. He sounds like he is on it to get rich off of the ignorance of people who just haven’t learned the hobby.
ZMR250?! When a Martian II frame is a major upgrade to your quad, you know you`re flying crap.
I think this beagle dude is honestly doing a good job, hes selling a service in a market where he cant compete as a small business in building the best product, so he has to go after a part of the market that hasnt been addressed by any of the big players just to be able to survive. Though this group of people here are definitely not the people to buy his stuff, I think people like my dad, who thinks fpv is cool but isnt interested in spending the hours and time to figure out how it works, and just wants to fly, are the ideal market for this. I wish this dude the best of luck.
Nova then we switch to curves and call it boost LOL! We have a special boost and chill out lion battery too we call Marley. They will jack the wrong customer I think or just pack it in when Paypal decides to catch on to the scam. If I want a scammy ipo stock I’ll buy DASH or PLTR real pro scams.
He seems sketchy
Bardwell laying down the 🛠
let me put this into perspective
my paycheck per month is 600$

for 540 dollar’s you can build really good 7 inch cruiser and get oil change on vw passat
