One day i randomly had the idea to turn my old fpv goggles into night vision goggles, with a $12 ir camera and a raspberry pi you can too! any goggle that has an hdmi in will work! i forgot to include the program i used but its just raspi vid and i used the preview window as my main video source.

Hot tip, use a Raspberry Pi Zero instead, they’re much smaller and uses less power.
EDIT: Oh, you did address that. Well, you can get ribbon cables that fit with RPi cameras in one end and a Zero in the other.

anyone who has any “trash” Fatsharks they will sell me to replace my EV800Ds I would fly FPV again. I haven’t flown FPV in 6-8 months simply because putting my 4yr old box Eachine EV800Ds does little to excite me. Have parts for at least 1 maybe 2 5″ builds as well as an awesome 3″ racing/freestyle hybrid I would build and fly and put the fixed wing foam scratch builds and their mess where I have my FPV quad stuff stored. I wanna fkn fly yall, not watch something fly…even if I am in control of the plane/ drone, flying via line of sight just isn’t the same. I can build a 5″ and or 3″ fpv quad or ship the parts along with cash for any Dominator or HDO Fatsharks.
