DJI Phantom 3 Max Height Test 1640 feet03:59

Today I decided to send my quadcopter up as high as I could get it to go which is 1640 feet. My phone was experiencing some kind of problem causing it to get hot and lag out. Eventually the DJI program froze up and I had to land.

      hi, can you tell me how you modify in the IOC to unlock max altitude,
      because the max setting is 500m.

      Awesome video. I just got mine and set a limit of 93 ft. for beginners. At
      that height I was scared. I live very close to our cities airport and I get
      warning that I am close to a no fly zone. How do you get the camera to face
      down? This model doesn’t record audio right? Thanks for sharing.

      I thought the first few seconds was an intro until I realised it was the
      video. Looks really cool should spray your channel and make a intro like
      that.

      Having a couple of guys trying to focus on a Phantom 1600ft high will not
      get you out the shit if Transport Canada catch you so don’t try to make it
      sound like you’re ‘taking precautions’.

      What phone do you use? I have same problems. My Nexus 5 gets hot and I have
      lag in video or loose signal sometimes.

      The phantom 2 can go 5000 feet…. shouldn’t the phantom 3 be able to
      surpass that? Does anyone know if you can get around the 500 m max altitude
      that the dji pilot app is set to?

      your advice to maintaining controller signal?
