Be careful as 30M is a reeeealy long way up!!
INFO:
1. Connect the smartphone to Tello’s Wi-Fi.
2. Launch TelloAltLimitSetter.
3. Change the set value with the seek bar.
4. Tap ‘Rewrite altitude limit’ button.
When rewriting is successful, “current altitude limit value” will be rewritten.

Very nice tip. I wonder if there’s an equivalent app for iPhone users. I like to keep mine at pretty low altitudes since the thing is so little and could easily fly away. This is nice to get a little more height if you need to though. Oh…looks like you’re driving on the wrong side of the road there my friend….hehehe ?.
I haven’t it had lose WiFi but I believe from other vids it will just try to land after the battery runs down so you’d want to have it in sight and not very high when that happens just in case the wind takes it!

You now can change the height directly in the TELLO app
edit: if you want to change the maximum height (30 m) you must connect to tello first
