my P4, after a firmware update. I notice the altitude are reach the max of 97ft and its hovering. But the main controller i set it to 300 meter altitude. How can i fix this problem?! Please help me! tnx
Let’s stop with the excuses DJI has so many problems with other models that it’s not funny and the customer service sucks just like the Drone itself it’s just too many people haven’t all these issues with them you buy a drone to fly not to spend half the day fixing them or updating them my chroma 2 years I owned it no firmware updates I have no issues at all so far so good and I do own a DJI Phantom 4 plus brand new and I’m already having similar issues like that I did all the updates calibrations everything my first DJI and my last
None of your logical reasons are valid with practice experience. Every point and issues you mentioned have been taken care earlier than your video. Cmon give something new.

The problem is dji sucks! I had the mavic, 3 pro, and. The 4 pro. Got the x star premium no problems yet, had it for 4 months now. I was the biggest dji fan.
IMO The phantom is causing a near vertical ring vortex as it pitches hard backwards to stop its forward momentum. But as seen in the video. The phantom takes time to stop at that fast of a speed and flies into the ring vortex.That it created when trying to go into a instant hover from that fast of a speed. Caused by the sudden release of the joy sticks.
The ring vortex will cause the phantom props to stall and the phantom will fall. Until it falls out of the ring vortex. Props only work well when flying though clean air.

mine incorrectly displays height. says it is at 100m when its like 4m off the gnd
factory reset , recalibrate and change vertical gain to 112%. From then the P4 is flying awesome.
A yes it dit. I did the IMU and GPS calibrationI did the VPS calibration on the pc 🙁 had to do it 4 times kept on telling me failure but and the end did calibrate it and did a test flight and all went well. so far no more problems. thx
Hi all i am new to the hole Drone thing wow its nice BUT yes had the same problem scary. And this on my first flight within 10 min of launch at about 35 m above my house dropped to 15 m one can clearly see it on the video ill try to share it.

Thanks so much for this video. Very informative! Ill have to try out everything you mentioned and hopefully it will fix itself. I have done the latest update but it didn’t correct the issue. Ill try the calibration next. Cheers man!

same issue, happened as direct result of firmwarw upgrade, lost 2 days of my life to tech support, this is mucking up critical shots daily, completely unacceptable

I hate it when this happens!!!! Just when I think I have a great shot it starts falling on it’s own which is very frustrating. I will try your fixes.
So is this happening to all P4 users and if so is it a faulty p4 should I return my p4 and get a new one
