@adit1001able not exactly a beginner multi rotor . I would suggest one of
the lightweight quads ladybird or the horizon mqx , helimax 1sq etc. these
low mass ships are much more likely to survive a crash then the ideafly .
Set up a pad to fly off of and over the grass keep it over the grass and
you will thank me later. Once you have mastered basic flight control you
can move up to something bigger . The small rtf quads are around 89 to $130
.

Nice little flight there mate and i’ve had mine now for a couple of
weeks,my second quad and like you say i tried a little micro hubsan X4
before getting mine just to see how these quads fly,i find they fly more
like a fixed pitch helis from memory. What size batter are you using? if
it’s the 3s 2200mah no need to say but as i’m waiting on the camera mount
to i’m thinking of putting in a bigger battery for longer flight times say
around a 3s 3300mah,this has a built in LV alarm just saying. 😉

I wish I had 1/4 of your confidence… but even though I’m a lousy pilot
I’m enjoying this thing as my first quad, I think it’s a good choice for a
beginner. I also think I need some expo because without it I’m scared…
is it good for complete beginners ?
