Uses Flyeye app, available on Play https://goo.gl/8s2cnr and iTunes https://goo.gl/HwG1CN
Pros
– Camera is mounted to a single axis gyro stabilized gimbal. Gimbal can also be remotely tilted up or down.
– Although it comes with a controller, it can also be flown using a smartphone and the Flyeye app.
– Includes WiFi FPV allowing viewing of real time in-flight video, along with recording of its in-flight video directly to your phone.
– Starts an automatic descent when flown out of range.
– Includes altitude hold, one key return, and headless mode to help new fliers.
Cons
– WiFi video range is short at about 30 meters.
– Although it includes altitude hold, it does not include auto takeoff or landing.
– Lots of jello in recorded video.

I found a new drone, I was hoping you could review it. Is the DarkStorm X8AMG . I don’t think is a Syma but it looks like one. It’s a brushless drone. I hope you can review it.
The video footage looks way out of focus. Otherwise it seems like a decent copter. Jello is pretty bad too. Thanks for the video.
That battery works like my Ryobi batteries! Gets to a certain point and shuts off.
does this stabilize gimbal work with different cam
im sure he keeps a very select few that are too cool to let go lol..
have you done a camera unattatched range test with this bird yet? also possibly a creditcard mounted sj4000 test?
i wonder if those props are the same size and such as the tarantula(x6 model)…its a couple tests to consider before donating this one so we can all see how it acts with different situations…
great reviews as always! happy flying!
will you review the new upair mavic clone when it comes out
hello i was hoping you could help me get ideas for a drone around or under $100 with long range and fpv thats not wifi
Great review, captions a bit variable though. F bomb at 5:38.
Well, any ‘one axis’ stabilisation feature is completely negated by the totally unusable video. BIG FAIL.
You would probably pay the extra $5 or even $10 if they would simply balance the props and provide some sort of anti-vibration dampening to isolate the camera. Add a few more bucks for a camera with resolution above VGA!! It could be a real good ‘Toy-Grade’ camera bird.
nice!
God that jello is bad,ok if you just want to fly FPV,pointless for recording video.I get pretty much jello free footage from my Mobius on my cheapy old tarantula X6.
Which reminds me,good clear windless weather coming for the next couple of weeks, first flights of the year I reckon this weekend.
