Nice landing!! ha.. I got one of these for Christmas and I have to be
honest, I really like this one! My only complaint so far is the angle of
the camera. I even took the cover off the camera portion and it looks like
it’s glued in at that angle. I didn’t want to break it, so i left it alone.
All in all, I believe this is a good one to get for someone that is wanting
to get into quad-copters and not spend a lot, as you also suggested. I
would also recommend to anyone that gets this to leave it in 4-channel mode
also!! That’s the way the more expensive ones fly, so it wouldn’t make
sense to learn how to fly in 3-channel and then relearn how to fly it in
4-channel!
Extremely LOW audio volume until 7:20 and then extremely HIGH volume —
when the music begins. Turn the volume control on your speakers down at
about 7:15 or risk busted speakers and ear drums.
Realize, 2/3 of your money builds the clear plastic marketing box…so it
attracts suckers in Brookstone to spend $200 for a $56 quad!
Buy this QUAD …and it will be a PIE-IN-FACE!….Don’t be a ‘sucker’ do
research before buying…this one is a CROOK!
They lie!
I bought one, crashed it, fixed it, crashed it again, fixed it again. Had a
total of about 100 flights over 3 months. Ordered a shell from Propel RC
for $14, they were back ordered so they sent me a fully built drone with
electronics and rotors/blades. Still flying. Now I have two drones. Great
drone for the money. NOT a jump drive, micro SD card reader. Level for
calibrating the qyro. Hold camera for video up to 3 minutes, Press once for
snap shot. Great first drone to get familiar with 4 channel flight and step
into a higher performance model. Propel RC has done well by me.
Great music to go along. To bad you didn’t show the “final fall”.
No problems with mine at all. No crashes, flies well, takes decent video.
The complaints below seem unfounded. I have the exact same model, and it
works great. My one complaint is the battery life. I am disappointed that
mine lasts about 10 minutes max. Luckily there were two supplied in mine.

you should learn how to trim up your drone even if its windy point your
drone one way and set the trim tell it just hovers but remember if you tern
the other way it will move that way so keep it facing the right way when
you want to hover

This is JUNK! I bought it for my son’s birthday. It didn’t work out of the
box. never took a flight. the remote syncs but will not activate the
motors. Costco will not let you return this. Shame on Costco for selling
this. Save your money.

Missing one propeller guard out of the box.
After take off hovering and flying up I tried to descend. Full throttle down makes it goes straight up high in the air unreachable. Luckily I realized if I gently throttle down I could hover it down slowly and retrieve it to return to the store.

What happens when you exceed the radio range of the drone? Does it crash, go into a hover or do a 180 turn?
