Can this beginner’s large drone with altitude hold lift action cameras? Let’s find out! Find it here http://shrsl.com/?~bs5n
and here is the camera version http://shrsl.com/?~bsd2
Pro’s
– Good clone of the Tarantula X6. But it has one feature that is currently absent on the X6. This quadcopter’s altitude hold feature works well, is easy to apply, and is very good in maintaing a steady altitude.
– Good range. Was able to fly it out past 150 meters, and it may be able to fly even further.
– Combining altitude hold with this quadcopters headless mode enables one handed flying. Very easy for beginners to fly.
– Quadcopter also includes one key return function.
Con’s
– One key return does not work while altitude hold is engaged.
– Heavy enough to require FAA registration

wow,,, your manual gymbal is cool…
will the JXD 509w lfe this camera too?
Hi Mr Quadcopter 101. I really like this particular quad! And I dont mind
buying from China, But I wanted to ask you about spare parts, are the
available and if so where is the best place to get them? Thanks for all
your great reviews, I dont ever miss one! You are THE best quad reviewer on
youtube by far! I am from Reading PA and I think you said in one of your
past videos that you were from Pittsburgh, Once in a while I hear some
Pennsylvania Dutch in your voice? Do you have some Pa dutch in your blood??
Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work! Happy Easter to you!
cool quadcopter :)gotta try that credit card mount out on a couple of my
quadcopters :)
Very good review, as always. I am thinking about getting this for my first
quadcopter, is it a good choice? And how do you increase the range on a
quadcopter like this one? Do you upgrade the transmitter, receiver, or
both?
Hey Quadcopter, love your videos. Will this work with the $50 FPV cam that
works on the Tarantula X6?
Is the camera good that you can buy with the drone?
Unfortunately, this quad is not available anywhere for quite some time. I
think it was removed from production.
who could i ask about a phantom 2 problem? I have gopro 3 with fatshark
attitude v2 and its worked recently fine but today I seen a very foggy
video when I first turn fpv on and wasnt clear and then nothing besides the
o.s.d stuff on my goggles.. Im not sure what is wrong I even tried goggles
on walkera 250 and it worked on it before but now it only shows black
screen with osd too.
Nope, I’d not place my $350 GoPro on this quad. Of course, my cheap SJ4000
camera I’d sacrifice. I assume this has the brushed motors? Yuk….
have you found any drones that can lift a runcam or Möbius camera but do
not require FAA reg?
Whats the range of the sky vampire? I just purchased one today. Cheers
nice
RFD029 drone holds? Sjcam?
Please suggest me
Which Type of Camera Is It?
QC101, I’ve been subscribing to your channel since very close to the time I first started thinking about a drone and I thank you for putting on all of these videos – they are top notch and extremely helpful. I really appreciate that you do follow-up videos for some of these drones with different combinations of cameras or modifications. I also appreciate the fact that even with over 100k subscribers, you still take the time to answer a lot of individual questions and make specific recommendations. There are several other drone channels here that I like, but find they are overall less useful as resources because the channel hosts don’t always give specific answers to questions or may give the less helpful response “Look at the other reviews on our channel!” when someone is asking for a specific recommendation.
I have one suggestion, though. For your reviews of drones where the camera ability and video quality are a major component of why people would be interested in the drone, could you please vary the location or perhaps add on a second clip from a different location than just the desert, perhaps that athletic field where you test your smaller quadcopters? I recognize that the desert gives you the space to test a bigger drone’s range, but it does not offer a very meaningful background to show off a camera’s video abilities and is about as featureless and monotonous as acre after acre of asphalt at a stadium parking lot. A location where there are trees where one can see if the camera picks up the distinctive details of individual leaves or buildings where we could see individual shingles on the roof, would be very helpful for the rest of us and make for a more interesting video.
Thanks.
hi there, which would you rather recommend? This or the Yizhan i8h tarantula? also do these quadcopters have brushless motors?
I have : vampire drone )not problem! :D) I’m so happy! :DDD
how does the return home work for you??
also how meny drones do u have?
Nevermind I figured it out. had the camera on back words. had another question tho. how does your self return work on yours??
just bought this one. so far cool. but the camera on mine points down. not sure why. I can’t adjust it without crushing the wire
Would you recommend the wifi version of this over the jxd 510g?
