Nice unboxing and test flight. It seems like a nice backyard flyer, the GPS lock was good. It’s a shame you had trouble loading the app. And I don’t like FPV camera quads that don’t a memory card slot. Overall a decent beginner GPS quad. Good review.
Well at 720p you’re not missing much anyway you probably got a better view watching it fly.

Good job of unboxing and flight review Dave.
The drone has all the bells and whistles for sure, but the only thing I see that let them down is, they go to the effort of all other things and then use brushed motors? I would pay that price for that, I would sooner go for a bugs or husban with brushless motors…I did some more flying the other day with the Fimi A3.

What a bummer about the app but that stuff happens sometimes. Thankfully I had no app issues. It is a good flyer though as you saw.
For $75.00 with coupon hard to go wrong. A quad like this or a small indoor flyer is a great way to start. Get those down more or less intuitively then try something in the bugs lineup without altitude hold. Then on to racing quads. That’s been my plan so far. I’m on the racing quad phase. Within the next 20 years I hope I can actually make it through a gate!
