You must be lucky with your model, with my x5-c1 i’m lucky to get 90 meters
horizontally and 30 m vertically.
Thanks for the reply, yes it’s possible I could be getting interference
from the Wi-Fi routers and quite a powerful Wi-Fi hotspot transmitter not
far away. Anyway I have purchased a tarantula X6 from gearbest but I’m
still waiting for it to arrive on that Slowboat from China. Interesting

Would you recommend this quadcopter to someone intending to later purchase

Great testing sir! Where do you buy the altimeter? Is it cheap?
Any other altimeters out there besides AltimeterOne that comes to mind? I
cant find any cheap chinese altimeters. I also checked the max altitude
with me Syma X5C-1, modified xmitter and all i had was a lighthouse as a
reference point below.

This is more of a “I need to clean my computer screen to see how high it
went” test. haha
how are you only getting 125 meters with that antenna? with my controller
all I did was solder on a 2 inch piece of copper wire and I am getting 500
meters.
might I recommend filming on a cloudless day.
No way a stock x5c1 with stock transmitter goes that high without loosing
the signal,less there’s something wrong with mine. But still

If you use the x8c transmitter with the x5c1 you get more range, I have
tried it.
I don’t know how you know the orientation of the drone when you can’t see
it. How do you not lose control.
