DONT USE X8 CONTROLLER !! It caused the LVC to come on after only a minute of flight.. at least it did to me and my model . BUT THIS QUADCOPTER When it works it does work well. Haven’t had anymore issues ever since that first day! Have a Night Flight video coming out shortly where I was flying about 30 feet in the air over houses and trees and even at full forward pitch never lost altitude. That’s something I would only normally do with a GPS quadcopter! So I must say when it’s working it is enjoyable. Thanks For Watching

Ok now I ask for your opinion it doesn’t have to be given right away if not
sure,new syma, 509g, 510g, or sky warrior?
Time for the motor pod landing gear mod! That flip on landing isn’t cool.
Syma X5 series seem to be fairly dependable and pretty good flyers, for toy
grade quads. Funny how the controllers are on basically the same protocol
but the X5HC just works well with the controller that it came with. Good
video.
My XK380 arrived today… lets do this.. thanks for the Comparison Full
Metal. My winner is the JXD 509g. I hope your X5HC is more consistent with
more flights
That was on my to buy list. I was going to wait. I purchased the Cheerson
CX 32S. I have 2 JJRC 509g … Well glad I waited for you HONEST review.
THANKS
well the old x5c transmitter work with their new quad?
I’ve had the same strange early lvc issue but I never connected a x8
cintroller. On mine it seems to come and go. I did modify the wiring on
mine to take the more common syma battery connection.
Useful video, thanks man! So, you don’t recommend using the X8(C)(G)(W)
controller with this quad? It’s kind of sad, because I was planning to
mount some kind of steering resistance controller (like here: goo.gl/c7QWCD)
on this TX to control these new X5 & X8 with altitude hold. I will be
waiting for other of your reviews, maybe you will have the X8H(C)(G) on
your table in the near future :)
I also wanted to let people know that it doesn’t seem to do well with
changes in weight. I have the third party 5.8 ghz fpv camera that is made
to mount specifically on the x5. Because the camera has it’s own small
built in battery it weighs more than the stock camera. When I mounted it on
the x5h the altitude hold did not work correctly, the aircraft kept
dropping and would not hold altitude. It was a real pain to fly and I
probably won’t use it again on the h.
full metal if you could buy something you already fly again what would it
be.
how did you bind your v666 with the x6. I am having problems
yeah they probably changed protocol on new x6
Both sticks to the bottom left turns i=off the X5HC instantly not to the
bottom center just an FYI hope that helps
