Was trying to get a decent view of the winding Connecticut river north of my position. Mount Warner has a summit of 500′ above ground level and I noticed I was at least twice as high. Hope you enjoy watching it. I also noticed I misspelled descending in this video. I know how to spell so don’t give me any grief over that please. 🙂

my syma x5 had a range of 1600 ft but that came with a price the other day.
it disappeared into low flying clouds and i never saw it again. now im
saving for a syma x8

Hello and many thanks for posting the video. You did some mighty fine
piloting on your flight!
I just purchased a Syma X8C in white, and it arrived a few days ago. I’m
used to smaller craft and am still learning how to fly. I own a Syma X5-1,
a Eachine H8C and a few others I am learning to fly on. I think your flight
to above 250M/1000ft was incredible! I’m curious, is your X8C all stock?
Was the transmitter or receiver modified to make it go to that height? From
various videos and information I’ve read about the X8C I thought it had a
maximum distance of somewhere around 100M. Please let me know if you did
anything to yours to make it go that far, or can I expect that kind of
range or height right out of the box? Any information will be greatly
appreciated.

Very nice for a X8C. And a steady hand at the controls.
Thumbs up for not editing the wife. I don’t think the X8G can go to 1000 ft
though. I’ve had mine up as high as it will go…with a camera, but I have
no idea how high it went. Lots of cops have been in the park lately though.
I keep my registration on hand just in case.
