December 2015 I was flying my Bebop Drone with my Droid Phone. I have over 20 hours of flying time on the Bebop Drone. This was not my first flight. Both Batteries were fully charged. At 3:10 into the flight the Bebop Drone loses the signal from the Droid.
Fortunately, the Drone missed hitting the house and crashed into the tree at only five feet off the ground.
The battery on the Drone had about five more minutes of power.
What would have happened if it didn’t crash into the tree?
How far away would it have flown until it ran out of power and crash?
My estimate is that it would have flown about a quarter mile and either dropped into a retention pond or crashed into a house.
All in All I Like my Parrot Bebop Drone.
It takes excellent video and pictures and flying it is easy with the Skycontroller, Ipad or Droid Phone.
An unexpected total lack of control is very concerning.
Is there a fix for this problem?
December 2016 hasn’t come yet and i had the same problem a few weeks ago it
flew away into the sunset never to be found
