You know what you aren’t seeing much of? Professional, licensed, Part 107 pilots, with visual observers spotting for the RPIC, as they fly responsibly within the limits of the aircraft and the pilot. This is mostly hobbiests who have no idea what they are doing or how to fly safely. More examples of why there should be training and testing required.

Thanks. You can learn a lot from some of those mistakes. Most are actually just “not thinking at all” it seems like, but some are legit mistakes of hardware failure I think.

People are incredibly stupid…that’s why tight drone regulations are now imposed everywhere. I pilot DJI drones since 2012 and never had any kind of crash with any of them(DJI Phantom 2, 3, Mavic 1, Mavic 2, Mavic Air, Mini 2). To be more precise, I didn’t even scratched any of my drones during flights. Zero incidents. But once again, people do the same with cars, bikes and other vehicles, some just lack any kind of reflexes and clear judgement.
