Happy flying!
HI – I’m thinking of doing this to my Orbit. Definitely looking forward to the next video in the series!
Maybe a stupid question, but what are the differences in a flying wing like this in your video and a “normal” style plane like the Nano Talon. I want to build a long range plane with Inav and an L9R, what could be better suited for this?
Thanks! As usual you are a great teacher! GO ON THIS WAY! 🙂
Really nice, man! That board looks awesome!
One of the unique and really useful features of this FC…is the vertically mounted USB socket!!!!!
Nice install, its tight fitting it in there for sure.
Just a word of caution, since you have rotated the FC to 270 degrees (and it appears fine) try doing a pitch board angle trim now, adding lets say a 10 degree plus pitch trim so you can see its effect. You may find the trim angle appears in the Roll axis instead of the pitch axis…?….Check it, I think its an iNAV bug. Im using ver 1.9.2 as well.
This (not so obvious) problem prevented me from rotating my FC into a more favourable position.
Try a micro sized XM Plus receiver…good for 5 kms…and RSSI available in the SBUS stream.
I am going to follow your series on setting up a mini wing with this FC! Your channel is like an online auditorium, great content!
Did not have a clue on these till watching your channel, slowly catching up, Thanks.
Hi Lee, I am hoping to put an Omnibus F4 pro + x8R into a Bixler 3. The Bixler comes with the Aileron Servos connected with a Y cable, Do I have to split the servos as Iwould prefer not to lose the channel. I was hoping to use channel 5 for flaps and ch6 for s.port? Thanks
Lee, can you help me out with any of your old unused transmitters? please, I will be waiting for your reply.
Very well done, easy to follow.
Great job. Can’t wait to get to the inav setup. Thanks again for all you do.
Gracias. !!
Very clear explanation, thx
Masha Allah, informative video brother, insha Allah planning on getting this FC for iNav ? setup is not far off an APM/Pixhawk and yes … that USB on top is icing on the cake, insha Allah will most probably go in a ZOHD Nano Talon
Enjoyed your article on wings in April’s Drone magazine. Now looking forward to the video on the TBS Caipirinha 2, nudge nudge ?
Orbit wing is really nice! Mine build with F405-std.
I like this FC. I’ll put it in the FT Spear and see how it does. Great instructional video too.
Is the third video in this series complete?
