I just purchased my first inexpensive quad copter. The WL Toys 262 with
Mobius camera. You want to know what’s really sad?? 37 years ago I was
one of those guys in the polyester shirt on the Disco floor.. LOL. Yes, I
was Canton, Ohio’s version of John Travolta.. Damn.. Time sure does fly.. I
don’t remember this song however.. 😉 Safe flying..

If I had all my crashes on video, they would be a couple of hours long if
you put them together…..

How does almost every single flip ends up on it’s head? I almost always go
down rightside up despite flips n such. You must be very top heavy

+CyberPilot360 I’ve never experienced a motor fail but I hear people talk
about them like they’re common. From just thinking about it, there are
very few things that can cause a motor to fail in the air: mechanical
failure, electrical failure/ESC. I can’t really come up with any more. Am
I wrong to think those two are very rare?
you are right, a motor stopping in mid air and generally any serious motor
failure is pretty uncommon, the reason why I had so many is because I was
using wrong low quality esc’s. Note that most of the flights were done more
than 2 years ago.

when it flipped over did you check if you were in + or x mode?
lol you wouldn’t even be able to take off if it was in a wrong configuration
no you can but it will flip over. my quad did that twice till i found out
why it did that.
It will flip over once it gets airborne
Really, if I flew that bad, I would quit.
My quad kept randomly flipping like that then I change one of the motors
and its fine now.
some of them are good crashes,,check my channel out and i have some real
bad ones with my x650f,hurts when they come down

No I don’t think so. It’s wa my esc’s if you know what they are
Ummmm….now let me see? ESC’s? My thats a tough one. Haha. Normally
ESC’s are fine but fail for good. They go open circuit. But yours seem to
flare. Have you tried the PID settings etc? If you know what they are?
Oh snap don’t say that voodoo combination of letters. I’ve heard about them
but never really encountered one live in the open. If you ever capture one
you can use it to tamper with the Soul of the copter?
… the escs were crappy and constantly loosing sync when the fc was giving
a rapid command.
Do you have picture of that PID? I’m curious what it looks like

sorry for that, I have broken mutch more expensive quads ;D Probably your
quad is even fixable, what’s the issue?
I’ve revived mine several times. I’ve even had to go so far as to buy a
new receiver board for my H107D. I’m sure what you have going on is
entirely fixable.

I would hate to have to buy new esc and motors not even using the first set
+Elio Mella does it take off and then after some time ramdomly flips ? Or
it doesn’t even get airborn? Check your esc’s bullet connectors, there
might be a bad soldering job
it takes off then after some time of giving it throttle into the motor it
will flip. I wouldn’t doubt a bad solder seeing as these were my first
motor solders. also noticed that the motor would have a jittery start up.
should I un solder and re solder with same connectors or clip it and re do
it

Just re-heat the solder on every of the three connectors and make sure it
has melted all the way. That’s typical behavior of a bad connection. Let me
know if that sorts it out
