MY DRONE RECS
Phantom 3 Professional- http://amzn.to/2jBlAci This is my baby. I’ve flown this drone more than any other drone and shot with it more. It’s an amazing workhorse that defines dependability. Just make sure you get ND filters for your camera and you’ll be flying like a pro in no time.
Estes Proto X Microdrone- http://amzn.to/2ily7j7 This little fella right here is what started it all. My very first drone. SUPER difficult to fly, but that’s the best way to get started. Make your mistakes here…and grow into a dope ass pilot. Nothing fancy about this drone, it flies and moves the way you tell it to. Learn to point the nose of the drone while you fly and you’ll be heads and shoulders above the crowd.
Latrax Alias- http://amzn.to/2jcS0wN This is the most fun I’ve had flying a drone. This thing is SICK. It’s damn near indestructible and just fun! It does flips, has varying degrees of difficulty to fly, and is fast! I cant praise this one enough as a toy/learner drone. If you think the Proto X is childs play, this is your trainer drone. Either way, enjoy the flight. Make sure you grab a couple extra batteries too! (each battery only has a few minutes of flight time)

#drones #fail #dronefail
OK,all you pissed off privacy mavens. I hate these things so much,I came up with a definite cure for invasive quadracopter flying near your home or family. As a concerned homeowner and parent ,when my neighborhood started being invaded by these childrens toys with high speed razor blades attached,I became furious at the invasion of my privacy of dwelling. Being an avid outdoors-man,my spinning pole’s reel needed to have the old line stripped ANYWAY, so I tied a rusty 1/4×20 nut on the line and started casting like a basketball bucket-dunk,flipping the line higher and higher. I changed to an equally rusty 5/16 nut, and found I could flip-cast a nut 300 feet in the air,and when falling back to earth,it became a tangled web of line in the sky !!!!!
So far I have disabled or caught 6 of the critters.
In my next post,I will share good recipes, and proper tenderization techniques to use. A always, we recommend the use of American made corn oil for frying.
Great video Dronr!! I seen that 1st clip where that guy crashes his drone into the wall. Also I felt bad for the guy who put the $1200 Typhoon H into the drink but in my opinion, he should have read the manual thoroughly before doing the 1st flight with it
The last one tho, smh…
I don’t like drone fails. Cause I know if I do, then my Mavic will die in a blaze of glory and someone will record it and make millions of views and make a bunch of money from my fail.
For the last one, the person may have confused up and down with left and right. Great to see these, I was hoping to learn some lessons, but didn’t.
Hah lol
You don’t know what a yute is?
captain rick is the best !!!!
funny stuff thanks for sharing
Omg! I was laughing so hard the last video!
WOW??
Lmao … good stuff man
LOVE THESE!!! KEP IT GOING!
You tell him to enjoy the video app he only play half of it
The first one was exactly my situation on Christmas morining. A brand new 400 dollar drone straight into a wall. Ive gotten better since then ?
What is the aviation/ drone term for “whisky throttle”?
#6 looks like a new pilot with “ more money than experience” going for a quick flight before he returns to his yacht for the ascot party?!
(Yeah, I’m hating cuz I ain’t got it!)
But seriously, at first glance: it lifts and maybe starts a little swirl before getting full sat position or lock.
HOLLA ATCHA BOY PANIC
“Panic dyslexia” kicks in so that he can save the day with a quick (mash the petal-climb-climb-climb ascent… (*hint- it’s the other stick) not to mention physics (damn science) is all wrong and tracks full speed sideways clipping said slip and falling into the depths of the great Pacific Ocean (well first few feet of it anyway)
Later, to save face, he is overheard saying that it was “Obviously” a defect from the manufacturer as someone with his drone skills, which are matched only by his seafaring skills, has NEVER crashed a drone… blah blah blah. You know, if only an experienced pilot would offer videos on how to fly these things……….
I loved the vid and commentary. My response is just off the cuff seeing it one time through – kinda people of Walmart watching. (You know!). So what do you believe actually happened? And if it’s not too much trouble, give us YOUR people of Walmart version!
Keep educating! Keep flying smart!
WOW??
