Brian was not only a skilled pilot, competent modifier and a very entertaining Youtuber, he was also my friend. We often had friendly competitions on our channels to see who could get a bird & review it first, or who could talk the most sh#t about it!!! He will be dearly missed… R.I.P. my brother! -djsoulforce!!!

      That brings back a lot of memories….I had the original X8 It was a heck of a good quad to learn on…not only that, but that was when Quads where Quads and not Drones..lol Still think Quad is the proper name… Still have a tree down in my back yard I had to cut down to get the X8 out…but you know, the Syma was fun to fly.. Sorry about Full Metal Heli…

      Man you brought out some memories, now I’m going to get my slow-ass X8HG red bird out of the closet and give it another whirl in the sky. Syma had problems with the throttle on the X8 series as it would drop out of the sky if you pulled back on the throttle too fast, but it is a nice flyer with its cheap HD 1080p camera. It looks nice with its shinny red color in the sunlight. It’s very easy to fly and durable too, the props were the only thing that would if you flew into a tree branch or power line. I remember Metal Heli used to demo a gold one and that thing was a beauty in the sunlight. RIP Metal Heli.

      BTW Soul Force, Demunseed, Jim Bowers a DJI fanatic, isn’t doing too well either I don’t think he can walk very well without aid, now that the wild fires are out I just might take a Sunday drive to the “gold country” and see him.

      Hello Mr SOUL FORCE. I have a question concerning the Jumper T8SG Lite. Do you know if it will bind with 3DR Solo. My Solo controller will not bind with 3DR. Says control stick error for a brief second on landing. Did factory reset on both quad and controller and since they refuse to talk to each other. I haven’t seen you review 3DR but I believe i heard you talk about Jumper. Thanks for any help. Sincerely William Horsley

      Better start nailing everything down, im here in north fl. they keep forcasting florence tracking north, it better start doing some turning pretty damn soon, look at the past 24hrs looks more like florida georgia hit to me, that puts you on the heavy rain side, not looking good, im getting nervous,,hopeing you and yours going to be safe,,

      I wasn’t planning to have a flight tonight, its just after 11 pm here in the UK. But I’m gonna pop a battery in the bugs 3, and take a tour of the field at the back of my home , in honour of Brian. I have no one to video the flight for me, but Brian will know ! Rest in peace Brian, where ever you are, fly hard and fast buddy ???
      Edit: Just been out, I swear he was fanning the wind, making for a harsh LVC landing lol !
