I bought this quadcopter and its : BULLSHIT!
My V959 did the same thing, I think it is a NPN for that motor that fried
on the board. I havent tried to solder in a new one yet. But looking at the
board it is an NPN (or PNP I dont know)…
did you try pulling the arm apart and see if the wires got pinch upon
production. I took mine apart and the wires on mine were all pinched.
V959 Chasing birds I personally think its a great beginner quad.
Legend
when you plug the battery, put the plane on the ground before the light
turn off.
Заебал себя снимать.
Dude it’s the way you are leaning it the gyroscope is only turning the
other ones to try to stabilize it…
Richard hsu is correct. I faced the same prob. Cause I connected the
battery initially holding the craft unlevelled and 1 of the rotors didn’t
work. But when connected it on a leveled surface- bingo!
Initially I thought it’s a crap quad now I’m loving it. Stable enough,
controllable. Takes good video when steadily moving.

you need a new board. i have one that did the same thing. the burning smell
is the board frying. If you look where that prop is connected to the board,
you should see where it burned. once i replace it, it worked fine. Trying
buying a Phantom. You will love it. Much easier to fly.
most likely when you crashed, you broke the wires to that prop, causing
them to touch, and burn out the board
I had similar problem. Found the info bellow and worked for me.
The gyro is confused, you could perform a calibration and reset it. Again
you could do this part with the V222 completely upside down, so that you
could see the on-board LED.
1) On the Tx, select rate to be either 80% or 100%
2) Pull BOTH control sticks to the LOWER-LEFT corner and hold them there
until the on-board LED begins to flash.
3) Let go of the sticks, and the Gyro will be reset within 2 seconds, and
the LED will stop flashing.

which is better?
looking at your video is as looking at myself today when I was trying to
fly my V959 witch I just listed in ebay for 20.00
Dud Battery? Mine will windmill like that when batt gets low
the motor may have unplugged
I bought the wltoys v262 with the foam protector ring. And I tell you I am
glad it has that foam protector as it would be in pieces by now. So I
suggest to all first timers get a quad with the protective rings you will
get more fly time.
Please note: Almost all these quads come from China and almost all of then
have motor failures or as in his case a main board failure. Just be
prepared to replace parts.
The ESC went bad, there are a bunch of power switching chips, and some of
them probably blew out.
Ugliest quad from underneath.
You made a sale….but not this machine! I’m buying the new SYMA.
I can’t tell whether I want a UDI U818A or a WLtoys v959, please tell me
what you guys prefer. I really need to know since I’m going to purchase
soon.
I have One to they are the same cool$$$$$$$$####
Should I buy the v222
These are junk, come from China and what do they say about items from
china??? All CRAP IS MADE IN CHINA!!!
You say this was it’s maiden flight then say it flew fine the week before.
OK
Lol
Looks like something shorted and fried. I have 4 quads and they all
sometimes need a reset of sensors. All of them have the same reset
sequence. Left stick down and to the right, right stick back and forth
rapidly several times.
