I got mine yesterday and the thing flies great and its quit. If i had to knit pick i would say the trim goes off pretty often. But yea you got the white game controller and mine is a big black transmitter and it looks allot like the syma x5c transmitter. Very odd right? Talk to you guys later. Thanx for all the videos!!

How stable is the DM003 for inside the house use for a novice and his first quad?

It was really cool . I was able to do it with one of those tiny transmitter camera combos it 8 up the battery quickly. Still totally fun:) I couldn’t believe it! I put it on my YouTube channel it was one of my first videos and it’s only like 20 seconds long because I’m still trying to figure out all the methodologies and the best way to get my films there correctly.
+Gary Naka After getting the DM003, I can say that it is TOO TOUCHY for a rank novice like me to fly indoors. On low rate, I was constantly running into the walls, and hit the ceiling several times. It is just too responsive for a total novice like me. It would sometimes shoot off fast, right into the wall. I wish the response on low rate was much slower. I just need to learn how to control the beast. Glad I started with something cheap.
It is indeed pretty quiet and tolerable inside the house. Not loud and painful like a dentist drill, but then again, I have not heard other quads, so I can’t make a fair comparison.
+Elite Lightning19 , I think it depends on where you plan to fly and what kind of flying, and the skill level of the person flying. The DM003 is too much performance for a rank quad novice like me.
Tips:
1-file a notch on the back of the quad for the batter leads, so the leads from the quad are not pinched when you slide in the battery. This also makes it easier to fit a tight battery.
2 -If you get a battery that won’t fit in the quad, like I did, you can tape under the quad. I just ran some masking tape from the top of the quad, down and around the battery, and back up to the top. Ugly, but it worked just fine to hold the battery on.

The internet is great that way. So far i only got the X Blade speed devil, which are released as re-brands here and there. its a good one tho. So there is a possibility the drone you show here is re-branded to something else too. I’m too broke to buy expensive toys besides keeping my PC up to date more or less, So i’m looking for a cool and fast drone for as low price as i can find without sacrificing quality. and headless mode ofc. It would seem the US has a much bigger and better RC community than Sweden. Here it’s considered embarrassing to play with RC toys as an adult. or at least that’s been my experience. But that nonsense won’t stop me. 😛

Once you fly this one time you will really want more batteries 🙂 It has been a while since we’ve flown this exact model, but I’d say somewhere close to an hour to charge 🙂

The Dromida Kodo HD is similar in size and in noise levels, but also includes a 1080p camera. However, it’s 3x as much at retail (and other than Amazon, who has it for $46, no one really discounts this or other models of Dromida drones).
Nate and Abby, you’ve covered many dozens of other drones on your channel. Merely telling someone to check out your channel, rather than giving a few specific examples to answer GITech’s question, isn’t that helpful – they’d have to watch hours of videos to figure out the other ones, unless some of them had the word “quiet” in the video title. which I don’t recall seeing, off the top of my head.
I’ve noticed you have done this on a number of occasions, giving the generic, extremely general response of telling people to watch your channel when they are asking for specific advice. That’s a bit analogous to using clickbait titles for videos. Personally, I think you’ll get as many or more new subscribers giving specific, helpful answers as you will by telling people just to watch all of your videos.

H8 is one of my favorites! I agree, very quiet and nice yaw rate!
This quadcopter has a plain, generic appearance in my opinion. However, it flies great! I really like flying this indoors. For some reason I have not flown it outdoors yet, but I’m putting in the queue for outdoor flying in the near future. I bought mine not recently, so I don’t know if this is still true, but at that time this was offered with either a mini transmitter as seen in this episode, or a full-size one (like comes with a Syma X5 for example). Mine came with the full-size transmitter, which I really like.

I bought a $20 drone called the tozo q2020 very easy to fly as a digital display on the controller which is pretty cool gives you a compass read out and tells you when your batteries are getting low on the controller it’s a really good one for the price and it looks really cool easy to fly as a return home function headless feature One Touch Landing and it can also do flips and has hold altitude so if you’re looking for an inexpensive easy to fly quad with really decent features check out the tozo q2020
