Armattan FPV Rev2 Tilt drone – EZUHF antenna mod and speed test
I’m shocked!
I thought the horizontal speed was around 50mph!
As a comparison, the max UK motorway speed is 70mph.
I’ve done a mod on the sander antenna and added a ground plane. It’s only a length (the same as the antenna) of mig wire which os soldered to the outer casing on the antenna. The difference is superb….. I could only get to 300ft without the RTH on the Vector kicking in but now, the sky’s the limit (pun intended).

You should just bring every FPV related thing with you on a bus or
something :’D
Oh that and you should coil load your ground plane, makes it into a small
coil that doesn’t get in the way and you don’t lose much signal. Alex
Grieves has a video on how to do that.
And a lovely tour of all the trees you’ve climbed with your fancy
hedgetrimmer… :)
Wow Vortecks! What a machine!! I love flying like this! My fave drone video
on youtube. Will try the ground plane aerial on my EZUHF too. Keep up the
great work, looking forward to more videos.

Smooth and faaaaaast! Loved it. Thought you were going to lose it at one
stage but well done for keeping your nerve 🙂 Loving my 333mm Tilt V2 but
