I wanted to figure out the Top Speed of the DJI Inspire 2 in real life. Obviously the best way to test the Inspire 2 was to go fly it! What firmware are you using? the .240 fW was known to have reduced the top speed which was fixed in .330, I get 60mph easily on my I2 on original FW.

I imagine the rearward speed is a little faster due to battery weight.
Phantom 4 has a faster top speed in Sport mode… Just saying.. lol

Holy smokes. I just came across this video, and I fly in that exact same spot! Cornerstone Business Park on Pine Island. I have flown my Mavic, Solo and Typhoon H there over and over. Great spot for testing.
According to my flight log I got a top speed of 64.8 mph in sport mode with a fresh batteries Installed, the amount of charge left in the batteries effects the top speed. I have also crashed my inspire 2 into an ivy clad fence. the drone switched itself off immediately, amazingly there was no damage whatsoever not even a scratch. I cleaned the freshly trimmed ivy clippings of and tried a test flight, it worked perfectly. Its a pretty tough drone.
