Quick little video on how to swap / change or replace your ESC (electronic speed controller) on your quadcopter. Normally it involves opening up the quad completely to change over the esc but with this method and using the original wires you can replace the esc very very easily. Maybe you already do it this way but I thought I would share for any new pilots that dont know this yet.

Hi Stu, the yello component is a tantalum electrolytic chip capacitor which
use tantalum metal for the anode. They are polarized capacitors with
superior frequency and stability characteristics
looks like a hardware revision on the Aikon 30a, looks like they added more
capacitors, should still work the same, just less chance of blowing a
capacitor.
Haha you always seem to upload exactly what I need – yesterday one of my
ESCs quit workings xD
You can save yourself time on your builds by not connecting the signal
ground. You only need the signal ground if your fc doesnt share ground with
your esc. eg when you have multiple batteries.
Cool video dude any advice for mounting a go pro to one of these
Hi. I have some off topic questions. I see you used the original PDB on
this frame. You think the frame would loose allot of toughness if you leave
out the PDB? Also where are you getting your 5v from? I plan to build this
frame, but i need a 12V and a 5V out.
Thanks for the info.
I think I dont get this. Sorry, I normally really like you videos and am a
subscriber. But what other way is there to swap an ESC? This video is just
redundant as fuck…
Buy a pair of tweezers will get you easier to solder.
phreakinfpv is correct, it’s the second revision. I think it helps with
desync issues some people were having.
tweezers = less burnt fingers
How do you prevent the fumes from solder from poisoning you?
A VERY NICE VIDEO COOL TO WATCH! just wondering if you are ever gonna make
a video on how to flash your esc so i know how to do it:)
