Start flying FPV the same day you get this in the mail. No computer setup needed. No tuning, or extra fpv components needed. Charge the battery and get 8-12 minute flight times. Get the G3 5.8Ghz goggles to go along with it and enjoy your fpv in the cockpit. Honestly not a bad quality quad from MJXRC. This seems better than the original Bugs 8. Easy to fly, and record 1080p videos of your flights. Nice quad for anyone new to flying.

Idk it sounds shaky on the punch. it’s safe faster and smoother on the stock props bcs I’ve seen that drone do better punch outs on the stock props.

hey justin… I really liked the vid. I’m not new to flying and have earned my stripes thru crashes and “fly aways” because i tend to be a “balls out” Pilot! I’ve always thought fpv would be easier than line of sight but when i get in the cockpit i can’t orientate and get nervous! but line of sight on this bird I’m a rock star! so i wonder if my problem is mental because i have a fear of loosing it because i can’t see it or could it be something else? I really want to fly fpv because i love simulation games (and don’t laugh I’m almost 57 years old) on the ps2 (Ace Combat) maybe as far as FPV this may not be my best choice! I would welcome anyones tips on this. thank you so much

its sensitive cause you have to calibrate the gyros
I think there are some tuning issues with this one. Oscillation is a problem on all videos I’ve seen, and the trim seems to “drift”.
Just test flew mine for first time…very nice, but I don’t like the oscillation when you give it throttle. Maybe PIDS a bit too high or maybe props not balanced well, it’s not a deal killer, but kind of bothersome when flying fpv. Some complaints about throttle being abrupt, but mine is actually very smooth.
Is the bugs 8 pro good for beginners that have never flow before? Or should I look at the bugs 6 instead? I just worry about out growing the 6 too fast.
A few questions:
What brand of propeller and what number (I see that there are many brands like Cyclone) can use BUGS 8 Pro without modification
The engine is 2204 1800KV
Where to buy a battery case (plastic box) or maybe a 3D object since I did not find this dron (I do not know if I can use it from BUGS 3)
Can I use XT30 to XT60 converter since 90% lipo batteries with XT60 converter
This dron uses a 11.1V battery as Ste and yourself say it’s fast. Can I use 7.4V because with the charger it comes charger for 2S and 3S battery. I guess it would then fly a little slower

Was he flying in angle or acro mode during the FPV part of the flight test?
I can’t seem to get any more than about 5 – 10 meters away and the fpv is impossible to use on mine. Your video seems like I should be getting a lot better range than I am.
What would you think my issue could be?

Also. The fpv and goggles. As long as its transmitting the 5.8ghz then it would work on a drone that doesnt have that?

The problem I have is with MJX quality control. My Bugs2 came with a bad battery charger and a bad controller. The Bugs 8 Pro I just ordered, came with a bad LCD monitor. Until they fix these issues , I cannot recommend buying any Bugs!
So you DID have the jumper on the pins the whole time? Then all you do is land, disarm the motors, flip the switch and you are in acro???
I just got one of these from Banggood. It was supposed to come with the camera and monitor but it wasn’t included. I’m not going to try acro without a camera. Your onboard video looks pretty good. Is that the c5830 camera?

This does have true acro you need to change a jumper inside the quad not just flip the switch on the controller…

Hi great review. In angle mode, do flips run like the mjx bugs 3 model? In the telecomamdo mjx bugs 8 pro I do not see the filp key as mjx bugs 3. Can you send photos of the flip key to use in angle mode?

Why they will not go in direction of proper f4 based real acro quads. They still making TOYish stuff. Plastic arms plastic legs. Try to hit tree at full speed with this “acro” thing. It’ll end up in pieces. They must step up. Many carbon racers costing the same amount of money so why to buy a plastic one if You can get f4 based quad for simmilar money?

Somebody said to fly Acro. you need to turn EVERYTHING off, then place the Arco button on the transmitter to Acro. , then turn on the transmitter, then turn on the Quad.. Hope this helps.
