The take away on these test seems to indicate the larger motor, although heavier, produces a lot more power and so I’m gonna go with 1104 and bigger motors for these MultiGP builds moving forward.

it would be interesting to see how the rcx 1105 5k compare to rotorx1105b 6.5k and dys 1104 6.5k. Also for the predator you could try the dys 3045, have some on the way to try out myself too.
Great idea for testing the MultiGP Micro build setups. The spread sheet link is missing. The RCX 1105 x 5000kv motors are powerful. You should try trimming down the GemFan 3025 propellers to see how they do. Another additional interesting speed test would be to do 5 laps of a barrel race like the do with horses with the barrels in a 20 meter square. That would also test turning and acceleration speed.
I would be interested in seeing how these preform.

Real question is, how does the lighter motor/lighter set-up perform OVERALL (turning, accelerating out of a turn, braking into a turn) than heavier motors/heavier set-ups? going in a straight line is useless. If this test is to determine the best set-up for a racing build, you need to re-do this test on a track setting. Not an oval/drag strip style setting.
