In this video, I help Edward and Jordan get figure out why TWO SEPARATE quadcopters aren’t spinning their motors right on the bench.
Will you be going to the Rotor Riot event in August?
I’ve spent all weekend on my first full build. Doesn’t fly. First problem was ESCs not appearing in BLHeli Configurator, only the first two came up, though they all span up fine using the slider under Motors in Betaflight Config. I ended up moving the signal wire from the third ESC from pinout 3 (RG SSD F3 FC, Spedix 20a ESC lites) to pinout 6. That fixed it and all four ESCs came up in BLHeli Config, giving me the chance to flash them and reverse direction on the ones that needed it. But DShot wouldn’t spin up ESC no. 3 after that, even after remapping them (correctly, I checked) in the CLI. But Oneshot125 was OK with it. I then started encountering the kinds of problems Joshua has been helping this gentleman with, relating to spinning up motors – I didn’t appreciate that being on the bench with no props would make it react aggressively (the throttle just kept going up lol). I then moved ESC no.3 back to pinout 3, as the motor slider had been fine with it, set it to DShot and took it out for hover test. Shot 30 feet in the air in 1 second, with minimum throttle, throttle spikes whenever the throttle was open or dropping out the sky when throttle closed (this is to do with the setup, not my thumbs – I’ve been flying a Falcon 210 Pro so I have basic competency). I had Air Mode on and Angle. I tried it with Angle off and it tried to turn a spiral to the right as soon as it left the ground and flipped over. I will do a further series of tests with ESCs 3 & 4 on pinouts 5 & 6, both in Oneshot125 and DShot, if I can get Dshot to work on those pins.
I should also say it’s Cobra Champion 2205 motors on a Martian II frame using Matek 5-in-1 PDB, with FS-IA6B I-Bus (thx for that FC/Receiver build vid recently Joshua, helped a bunch). Not connected any VTX beyond soldering on the wires.
Anyone got any other advice? I’m on forums asking but it’s slow going, lol. Thx for help.
such a great thing you did here man!

Had a very similar issue, what we found was when we setup the quad we direct wired the motors and then reversed direction of #2,#3 motor in BLHeli Suite. After replacing every other part on the copter we decided the rewire #2,#3 cross wired and then set the motor direction in BLHeli suite to normal. This resolved the problem.
loving these new 1 on 1 videos, and the fact that you go out of your way to get people back in the air is inspiring. Thank you Joshua!
Wow man that is really really cool – I just spent 30 minutes troubleshooting with Josh Bardwell on a real-world build issue that could happen to anyone! I definitely learned something today! Thanks to the last 2 months watching scores of Josh’s videos I followed all of it and understand everything he did- and here it is nice to see all the steps put together! Great video type JB keep them coming! I could only dream to get you in this way when I have a prob that stumps me! Thanks a billion JB and guest! Zeebra
my quad in setup tab rolls l when i roll r and pitch f pitches back
Josh, Quick tip for you. Put the quad on a non slip surface during the bench test, or put a hand on in securing it down. Then throttle up gently, should work just fine. The slippery surface and motor braking causes a jolt and then naturally the Pid controller freaks out. Btw love your content, keep up the good work!
when i use my controler it works right but in the set up screen when u pick it up and move it thats when it does it
what would be fix for omnibus f4 pro v3 that has #2 motor input failure and when testing through betaflight . had esc fire while back and I’d like to fix it for a second drone build
hi sir good day. i have problim on my motor 3 and 4 it won’t spinning. and the motor orientation is not in order. pls help me.
I have a elan view cicada Drone an one of the motors seems to be surging, why?
Iam facing a problem with brushed motors on when i push full throttle only the 2nd motor is at 2000 value others at different value how to solve this?
+Akshay Phadtare this is normal. The quad has to stay balanced in the air. Driving all motors arbitrarily to 2000 would not accomplish this.
Go and check the receiver tab . The quad won’t sit still in preview. I have the same problem with a flysky transmitter and an f4 board . The naze32 i have doesn’t flinch on that tab but the f4 is rotating .
Hey Joshua..kinda have a problem. Im using a new Dalrc engine 40a aio esc. Thing is all motor is spinning in 1 direction. My blheli config and blheli suite cant read my esc and i need motor 1 and 4 to spin the reverse direction without using the blheli config/suite.
I’m going to guess you are trying to use the regular version of BLHeliSuite. You need BLHeliSuite_32 to talk to 32-bit ESCs.
Joshua Bardwell got it buddy! Man that was brain cracking. Just Got it to flash and get the motors spinning right
I finished building my quad but I’m having issues getting my radio to work. It’s a Flysky i6s and its bind. Shows signal on Betaflight (joystick movement), however, the motors don’t spin with joystick movement 🙁 only manually. help anyone?
can you put the line of code for the set min check to 1010. cant read it on your screen in the video. Thx
set min_check=1010

Did you see my video Josh? Floss5″ motors spinning up issue # have tried everything and still is smooth when armed on min throttle but when try raise throttle they want to go to full??
Most likely this is one of the “quadcopter flips on takeoff” problems. Check my video about that (google that phrase).
Joshua Bardwell I have tried everything in your video Josh.. the board won’t allign properly and the motors still keep spinning up more than they usually would with the props on or off?? Please help.
my chinese drone one motor starts rotating as soon as i attach battery after a crash,i noticed the two wires of that auto rotating motor were shorted with each other resulting may be shorting its circuit. Please help
If you’ve found physical damage to the wires, then that is the first thing to fix.
no damage, that motor just starts spinning right after i insert battery.i didnt even turn on the drone
I connect two different escs to my quad when increase the throttle to the value more than 1500 the motors connected to this esc stop run ,
And while it’s running l heard sound in one of motors like to brake with lowest speed than others motors.
Could help…
Thanks
Finally…I’ve been having the same problem…problem fixed…great informative video!
Hey bro my 3 motor spin properly but 1 motor spin faster what to do motor number 3 spin faster
It’s probably not a problem:
Thanks Joshua. After watching and following your checklist my motors started responding to the transmitter (first quad build). They turn all wrong and can’t reverse them from BF nor BLHeli but I can move them physically around. I want the auto-lock of the propellers to be there anyway. The only thing not working correctly is that the Throttle stick also moves the AUX3 slider in BF (Devo7 Tx). Could you use Remote Control to connect to your patrons computers and set things remotely in BF? (That could be a new line of business for you.)
Thanks, solved my problem. Basically most of those issues.
Because of this video, I calibrated my esc’s and set my min-throttle properly, now my quad idles properly, doesn’t yaw upon full throttle. Also learned a better way to test motor direction than with a finger hehehe. Thanks tons.
you helped me get my quad up and running
Great work good vid
Saved me again thanks JB
Josh any ideas on my quad problem. Its a cc3d on librepilot. Out of the blue the roll does not respond to my rate settings. Pitch is still fine. My only guess is fc not giving output based on input. Rate at 1080 still only rolls below 360.
I don’t know the first thing about Libre pilot.
Dude this video is the best. You truly are God sent. 😉 doing live troubleshooting with us is the greatest possible way to go. I will be calling you when it comes time. Thank you Joshua.
I learned a lot from this one, thanks ?, your knowledge and patience are a blessing lol, I had similar issues, the problem was I needed to trim like you showed this man even though my crappy dx6i didn’t have the resolution to trim it perfect, simply adding 2 points of rc deadband nailed it…
Hey josh what would it take for you to walk me through with my furibee x215. I had it for about 3 weeks and I’m getting no where thanks
I’d suggest starting with these videos:
Joshua Bardwell I’ve watched all that you have on this part. The motors are working perfectly now after watching this. Now I’m not even getting it to respond to the transmitter. The transmitter won’t even arm or move the little orange indicators like it was. Everything only responds from the master switch.
Josh, my motor 4 is spinning a little bit slower then tje others in full trhootle. What can be?
Just means it is making slightly more thrust for some random reason. As long as it is only a small difference, don’t worry about it.
Great video Joshua. Referred to this when having trouble n it sorted my quad out. Thanks mate
I just built a tiny whoop and as soon as i arm the motors spin at min throttle. I increase throttle and they rpms increase for a second and when i hit about 1/4 throttle the motors just stop. i have two of the same FC BETAFPV F3 V1.1 Brushed Flight Controller Integrated with OSD and Frsky Receiver (SBUS). I’m using a taranis x9d. 25,000Kv motors. i have no clue how to fix it. used both boards and the same thing is happening with both.
If you built it yourself, and you are in Betaflight 3.3 or newer, then I suspect you have a motor going the wrong way or something like that, and anti Taz. Protection is or venting a flip out. Search my channel for anti Taz.
Joshua Bardwell thanks. I got it fixed. One of the most simple things I didn’t even notice. I just set up the motors the same way as my blade inductrix and didn’t think twice about it. I appreciate the obvious answer to my problem. Haha I guess that’s the fun of being new to the hobby.
I am working with Naze32 board and Flysky i6 transmitter. The values of throttle , yaw …. are being correctly show on the reciever tab of Betaflight and the motors are also working via the motor tab but I am not able to control the motors via the Transmitter ??… Please tell me where am I going wrong…
Have you set up an arming mode?
I noticed my drone had one propeler starting up after the others does this mean it needs replacement
Not necessarily. But if the motor twitches and doesn’t start smoothly it might need replacing.
Even though I had a completely different problem, the way to go about problem solving helped me a lot. Thanks!
I’m binging on JB right now 🙂
There’s a ton of content to enjoy. Glad you’re liking it 🙂
Thank you so much! I couldn’t get my quad motors to spin properly after a crash, thanks for helping me fix it 😉
hey guys i have make a drone quad as the uav futures did 99 usd version with sp fc f3 uprade
i did betaflight calibration of esc all set to go but when i arm the quad motors are spinning ok and when i ad throttle to lets say 50% the motor 1 3 and 4 are spining to 1500 and motors 2 goes to 1400 then drops off speed until it gets to the arm speed thats 1020….any clue on how to fix that ?
tl;dr – It’s probably nothing.
hi could really use ur help. when i arm my quad all motors spin at the idle throttle speed at about 1045. when i use betaflight, master throttle in the motors tab all my motors spin up equally through my whole throttle range. But when i use my flysky fs-i6, motor one spins drastically slower than the others. number 2 spins faster than the others and 3 and 4 spin at about the same rate. any idea whats wrong ?? im getting a lot of drift. as its my first quad its just been frustrating me and pushing me away from the hobby. Need some help in pushing forward. Thank u for ur time and patience.
It’s normal for the motors to spin at different speeds when the props are off.
It’s normal for the quad to drift. You have to use the sticks to fly it and keep it in place.
Thanks for the advice… But I’m having to over compensate so much for the drift.
my left rear emax 2206 lite 2300kv motor on my hawk 5 went dead after 2 flights not ever crashed .. so I replaced it 5 minutes ago and nothing. I checked betaflight and motor 3 still won’t spin and I did not change anything.. how can I diagnose the problem
NeonGanjasFPV ESCs Dead?
Sounds like NOCCO. I am about to throw out this project entirely
This vid helped me out big time!!!! Was having such a hard time getting my Kopis 2 to arm….Its working now. Thanks man.
i got the same problem and changed the motor and the ESC, and the motor still aint spinning…
I have a build with Jb FC&esc combo, My problem is when I raze the throttle on the transmitter the motors spin up at different speeds. I have calibrated my transmitter, calibrated my esc’s and calibrated my accelerometer . If I use betaflight to raze the throttle it works just fine. It is only when I use my Transmitter that the motors spin at different speeds
Has anyone got any ideals?
This is normal.
can u help me please
What problem are you having? I’ll do my best.
Definitely fixed my problem, just needed some esc tuning. Thanks for this video!
Thanks Joshua this fixed my problem as well.
throw the whole drone away and buy a dj phantom 4 well worth the money lol
throw the whole drone away and buy a dj phantom 4 well worth the money lol
I am noṭ able to understand , I mean what is that app beta flight and how is it connected with the drone
hey i have a wheelociti x10 , the problem-alternative wings move for 10 secs and then the other alternative, please, what should i do ?
That was awesome! Thanks JB!
Thanks alot Joshua, you saved my day 🙂
Hello I’m from India and I build a quadcopter but the motors are not rotating…
It only beep and rotate slightly with beeping and stops a second and repeat the same..
Make sure the motor protocol (Dshot, Multishot) is supported by the ESC.
You must get the motors to spin from the Motors tab.
How do I know, it support or not?
How to spin motors from motor tab?
Do you have whatsapp number so that I can send you video…
i bought a hobbywing f4sd flight controller package and my esc is making a clicking sound been stumped on this one any ideas what would cause this
Just wanna say than you. You solved my problem too.
You’re welcome 🙂
Can someone please help I crashed my bugs 3 now my motor sound like s*** when flying and I have less power now also has very bad vibration in the rear
Sounds like you need to replace a damaged motor.
@Joshua Bardwell thank you for your response it’s amazing to get a response that quick I appreciate the help and I definitely am a subscriber now thank you so much I’m trying just with the props first because I already ordered them and I’m not sure I’m going to change the motors out it’s a bug’s 3 I might just order another one I’m save this one for parts although I want to learn to build them
@Joshua Bardwell How did u get so knowledgeable I’m assuming profession / carreer electronics I’m a welder/fabricator thank you I’m sure I will learn,a lot from your channel appreciate the quick response
@Joshua Bardwell if I change my bugs 3 motors out to a larger kv is it necessary to change the escs out as well also my stock motors had sufficient power for me but I hate to change just 1 motor and have another go out any suggestions
Good job never skip the obvious or the basic, especially when some else has been trying to fix something. I have found the darndest things in dark corners of configuration files. When I find this, I tend to use the nuke from high orbit option and reset everything to factory defaults.
My name’s Corbin, and I learned something today!
Joshua Bardwell, you are an Fpv know it all! You are the sensei of quadcopters!! This video totally helped me! Thanks!
If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it… my problem right now is that my motors spin even when throttle is all the way down at 0. As soon as I arm the quad, the motors spin even though I haven’t throttled up yet. They do throttle up further when I do throttle up, but I still need them to stop at 0 throttle. Any tips?
That’s normal. That’s the way it’s supposed to work 🙂
It’s dangerous to have the quad armed, but the motors not spinning. You can pick it up and bump the throttle and cut yourself.
i have this problem but nothing fixed it, its still going crazy
the EXACT same problem, with 1 motor not going crazy
Hey Josh this is killing me I’ve tried everything ,I’ve watched all of your vids. I’ve got the wizard x220s and have throttle issues, it’s going full throttle with very little input and flipping on take off, “PLEASE HELP”!!!!!!
If the quadcopter instantly flips over when you arm and raise the throttle with props on, it is almost 100% certain to be one of these things:
1. Clockwise prop installed on counter-clockwise spinning motor or vice versa.
2. Flight controller not facing forward. Go to the Setup tab in the configurator. Tilt the quadcopter on all axes (pitch, roll, yaw) with your hands. The 3D model in the configurator should move the same as you move it with your hand. If it does not, use the Board Alignment parameter in the Configuration tab to fix it.
3. Motors not wired correctly. TAKE OFF YOUR PROPS. Plug in a battery. Go to the Motors tab. Turn on the “props are off” slider in the lower-right. Raise the individual sliders (1, 2, 3, and 4) one at a time, just enough that the motor begins spinning. The motor positions (1, 2, 3, and 4) should match the graphic in the upper left. If they do not, then either move the signal wires so that they are correct or use resource reassignment to virtually “move” the motors.
4. Motor spinning wrong direction. Do the same as step 3 but compare the motor direction to the arrows on the graphic in the upper left. If a motor is spinning the wrong direction, either reverse it using BLHeli (or whatever ESC software you are using) or swap any two motor wires with each other, which will reverse the direction.
Many times, people swear up and down they have checked all of these things, and then come back to say oops I missed one you were right. So if you think you have checked all of these things and your quad still FLIPS OUT, go back and check again. If your quad is insta-flipping on takeoff, it is almost always one of these things.
where is Min throttle now in Betaflight 4.0.2 ?
where is Min throttle now in Betaflight 4.0.2 ?
If you are using Dshot, the parameter is “digital idle percent”.
Thanks Josh didn’t expect a reply that fast ,really appreciate it ,computers scare the shit out of me. I didn’t turn ppm off on my flysky transmitter. “DEERRŔRRRR” cheers
In my case am using kk2 flight controller on hexacopter and one of the rotors will not spin until half throttle. I’ve tried calibrating several times and replacing esc and motors. It still will not spin alongside others until it is half throttle. Please help!
To be honest, the KK flight controller is so old I don’t know a thing about it.
@Joshua Bardwell Thank you sir
You can help me find out about how to get the problem solved
Hey how are u I have been almost a month building my 5 inch drone been having some problems with betaflight or the filth controller is dead now I check for the resistance and I came conclusion that flight controller is fry lol anyway I have another one so im going to try that one

this helped me immensely tonight .thank you so much joshua.after being out the quad game for years i been struggling tonight .this pretty much fixed me right up .
I need help, after 6:32 when that beeping sequence is done my esc keep beeping slowly with probably a 1-2 second gap and slowly begin to beep at different times like losing sync, I have no idea what to do
Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Exactly what I was looking for! !!!!!!
Hey brother Bardwell why my betaflight configuration does not have all the features show like in his ESC/Motor Features? I have no motor or esc accessory..
I’ve had this same problem with 2 of my quads and I think you hit the nail dead on the head with this vid.
More problem solving vids brother

My issue was so similar across 3 craft however this remedy didn’t help. My answer which I hope helps you all learn something today was P. I. D values. P around 40 all round. I and D at zero. Got rid of my motor start up issues and now I can tune up again
Dear Bardwell one question… My #4 motor on my new build spins sometime when I arm and sometimes it won’t, but get this when 4 spins motor 2 won’t. What’s that all about?

awesome video! helpful extra tips along the way of the main problem too- BONUS 🙂
Hey brother Bardwell I have a situation I can not find a video on.
I arm my quad three motors spin #1-2&4 but when I put it on betaflight three motors spin #2-3&4…
Can you please put out a video on this problem I’m having I’m sure it will help hundreds of newbies as myself.
Thanking you in Advance.

hi josh i need help.. my motors spin fine in betaflight but when i put the props on and arm the drone is stable but then when i start to throttle up it goes full throttle and now i have a battery shaped hole in my roof haha what would cause that? ive calibrated the escs and motors..
Having the FC set to props reversed but not having the motors set to reversed direction. That’s a common one.
Also don’t test hover inside.
@Joshua Bardwell ok so i set the motors to reversed on betaflight which helped so it hovers nicely but now ive lost roll pitch and yaw? any ideas?
I’ve just refreshed and the motors are spinning the right way but almost like they are sticking /2lLfLcOkcYM and on the motors tab the values go ballistic..
Josh i need help when i go to take off to hover the drone shakes out of control and turns off i have a eachine wizard x220
@Joshua Bardwell just wanted to give you reply the FC was facing a wonky direction i turned it to the left on betaflight it would pitch forward and what not so i switched things around and its flying great i appreciate your response
@Joshua Bardwell subscribed immediately thanks again
Such a great video and trouble shooting session…
Great work Joshua ??
I have a similar issue that was solved by running ground wires to each esc. The they did not have ground wire initially
Hi just bought a trashcan because they looked like little beasts once i had gone in betaflight sorted everything out when in motors tab all motors work except for one how would i troubleshoot this
I’ve spent so much money on these things and it’s one problem after another, for beginners dont even waste your money on this hobbies, one problem after another. NOW FULL THROTTLE AND WONT GET IN AIR. THEY ARE ALL JUNK. ANOTHER MONEY SCAM. FU
Hey man if you need some help getting in the air hit me up joshuabardwell@gmail.com and I’ll see if I can help.
I’m just trying to get my replacement Tinyhawk S FC to work like the original. The motors are all spinning wonky. That’s a technical term. Thank you for making this video too. But are board mounted ESC’s this in depth too??? Slowly realizing I know less and less and need to learn more and more. ??♂️??♂️???
Did you install them correctly? Two motors spin clockwise, two spin counter clockwise.
Excellent advice! I’m having the EXACT same problem. Will review again to fix issue! Thank you JB!
Is he still doing this?
I do it every now and then.
Did it work
Hello Joshua, i wanted to thank you for helping me before when starting out with the fail-safe, now im building a bigger quad but im having problems, after a certain point the motors rocket up to almost max and won’t let me throttle down unless i disarm it, thanks again 🙂 i always love seen your videos
Try using a switch to turn on or off angle mode. Also try turning on/off air mode, because that can add throttle to try to maintain stability.
@Michael Dilger found the issue,i needed to add the props and flew fine
So did it hover?
Hey Josh, I wanted to say thanks for your videos. My 12 year old son has passed me in skills in flying and tuning because of you. This video helped me solve a problem where the min throttle needed to be moved up.
If anyone can help me on here I’m lost. I thought I was having a motor issues but after looking at my receiver on betaflight I’m not sure. When I move the sticks on the receiver and watch them in the receiver tab they are dropping off while I gradually move them up. It’s like it glitches. It will go up gradually and then drop down then hop back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CAN U HELP ME WITH THIS THEN
Hello Joshua
Maybe you can help me. I made first maiden flight with my quad but i crashed from maybe 2m hight and when i arm again motors wont start and i hear beeping from drone. I beleive you had such cases before and i would appreciate if you can help me.
I’m having a problem with throttle.
When i increase throttle, only 2 motors increase speed, the other remain the same.
If I move any other sticks, all motors (including the others that don’t increase speed! ) respond correctly, with yaw pitch.
Only the throttle has this problem, can anyone help?
And in betaflight if I increase throttle on all motors in the master slider, all motors spin equally.
This only happens when increasing throttle with my transmitter.
I already tried calibrating ESC, but no luck.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be?
Quads do weird things with props off. Put props on, go somewhere safe, try to hover.
@Joshua Bardwell thanks for the response, i did fly it with props, but it flipped over.
Most likely because ony the 2 motors on the left are spinning.
All motors are spinning in the correct rotation, cause i checked individually in betaflight.
The only thing wrong is really the throttle from the transmitter that only spins 2 motors.
The rest sticks move the motors accordingly.. Weird..
Anyway, thanks for the help!! You’re the one that helped me set it up ?
@Joshua Bardwell Hey, Just an update. I managed to fix the issue!!
Turning on Air Mode in betaflight, makes the motors increase speed evenly, so the problem appears to be fixed.
I would want to know why that would need to be on though.
Anyways, keep up with the good content, love your videos! 🙂
I’m having issues with my quad were when I throttle up on the transmitter then throttle down is just speeds up an wont come down till I dis arm it
are your props on?
Appreciate you guys! Thanks Josh! I was having an issue with getting my motors calibrated, and this video happened to include that!! Thanks a million!
Any idea about f450 drone? My motors won’t spin right.
I think my ESC melted a little.. my motor wonts really spend on idle a lot of times but if I give it some throttle itll start up or I hold the drone move it around itll start up.. But I am not a 100% sure if it’s just because it’s trying to straighten the drone . Though still won’t spin adding full throttle. If I disarm rearm I eventually get it going. There times it spins in circles on the ground lol
Damn, exactly my problem. Thank you
Helped me. Thanks a lot!
Mine needed change from dshot150 to dshot600
I have a brand new sussex f7 4 in 1 ESC and I can only get 2 motors ( rear to spin ) No idea why but all forward left and right pads don’t work .
I have motor stall on bebop 2
Thanks for the video! I understand so much more
Wow thnx god for for this guy my motors were spinning erratically in all I did was calibrated and now they spins just fine
What do I put in to set min check
Wow, my first build and im dealing with the same thing. Ive studied hours upon hours. Im using a tcmmrc d shot 600 40 amp 4 in 1 esc 2205 2750 kv motors . Same problem and the modes fix isnt working either
Thanks for the video. I’ve exhausted all my resources which includes a ton of your videos and hoping you might have a thought for me. My motor runs fine until it hits about 1350rpm but then at 1500rpm, it twitches. All other motors perfectly fine on my Emax Tinyhawk 2. Anything beyond 1500rpm, it doesn’t spin at all. I did calibrate using the motor tab running it to max, plugging in the battery, then running the motors down, followed by power cycle. Would appreciate any ideas you might have. Thanks!
Is this the answer:
@Joshua Bardwell Thanks for getting back to me, but I checked in BLHeli and confirmed that my ESC’s are not set to bidirectional. Neither was my betaflight. I did turn on the bidirectional on betaflight to see what would happen, but it wouldn’t allow me to arm. Doesn’t have the second confirmation beep. I’ve since reverted back to no bidirectional and motor still fails at 1500rpm.
Any other ideas?
I hope this fix min the min throttle max in esc is difrent of my head all 4 props spin in bataflight even main slider but on contoller it just stop i thought it was power problem but rulled it out I always hear collaborate esc just never new how though it a button lol it same esc and flight contoller as the one I did before that was fine so strange then I was blaming the motors ah ah they crap bla bla till I did it in bataflight see they ok ? thanks man jb ?
Hello, so I’ve built this drone using some cheap parts from amazon. I’m not looking to anything extravagant, the drone has a certain purpose. But i have some Hobbypower SimonK 30A ESC connected to a Hobbymate PDB and the PDB is connected to an iFlight SucceX-E F405 FC. Also the motors are made by Crazepony and my transmitter is a FlySky FS-i6X with an FS-iA6B 6 channel receiver. After everything has been put together, it works! The only issue I’m having is that all of my motor controls are separated on my transmitter. This would be fine if i had an three hands but unfortunately I don’t (I mean think of the possibilities). All i want is to raise the throttle and all 4 of my motors spin instead of have to lift the throttle push it to the left and flip switches. Is this a calibration issue with my ESC’s or do I have to change some settings on my transmitter?
